Wonderful weekend...

We didnt know where to head to on Sat and decided to drop by Ikea Tampines and Courts.

It wasnt easy to persuade Rie to come along because she wants to hang out at my mum's place. So during the whole car journey, she was grumbling and grumbling all the way till we arrive at Courts and still grumbling....tsk tsk.

Thankfully, the movies at the television area attracted the kids. They were showing Avatar and Disney UP. Rie was so glued to Avatar that I decided to rent the movie to watch over the weekend as well. It's a really good show. I didnt take a liking to it when the movie was released, coz I thought the creature was rather scary....

So anyway, after that we headed over to Ikea to grab their cheap and good hotdog buns for a break. And then, we finally got the chance to try out the famous and delicious meatballs!!!! We had wanted to take away, but there was a sign that says they no longer offer takeaway. So maybe we can bring along containers next time and just transfer it over to our containers to munch in the car.

It was so delicious that we quickly ate it before I could snap any pix of the rest of the food we ordered. I'm so going to try the salmon dish next time..yum yum leh...And I'm gladful the kids sat and entertained themselves with the toy cars, rather than running around...

Hb was happy to spend father's day at ikea.

On sunday, we headed over to Botanic Gardens to find the swans and feed them some leftover breads we had....Weather was good, but it became too sunny thereafter and we headed home.

In case you are wondering, why no pic of the swan? Hahah, they swam away after no getting any breads from us, coz I was pinching the bread into crumbs to feed the fishes....

Thereafter, we headed to ECP REd House for dinner with my parents. Yum yum...It's been a long time since we headed there and I love the smell of the beach.

Lately, I was thinking to myself, "hey, I actually dont have to bring along any more pampers when we go out! " that is until baby is born. And now, I switched to carrying mini plastic bags...for emergency use when Reyes just screams "Shee shee come out!" hahahah...It sure comes in very handy and have saved me a couple of times for wet underwears and pants. phew.

And we are going to be five...

Everyone is getting into the mood of welcoming a new member into our family. Especially rie. She has been asking me day in and out when is bb arriving and why is he not born yet.

At times, she will tell me she wants to keep aside biscuits or sweets for bb after sharing with Reyes. She can be such a sweet sister.

My tummy is starting to show only now. Been such a worry mother, as if it's my first time.....I'm hoping everything will turn out fine. Praying hard daily until the day I have my detail scan.
