Waiting Eagerly!!

Great, my heart is so anxious to find out when is our selection date for our flat. Someone in the female brides forum has received the package from HDB and the appointment date is on 3rd Jan, which is in 2 weeks time, very very fast! I tried checking online but it still shows that I'm not scheduled to select a flat.

Finally!

Was so eager to receive June's mail on the date. Finally, FH called and said she left a voicemail asking to return her call, but alas, she is out for lunch.

Called her twice and yet she was not around, decided to send her an email. Once the phone rang, I knew it was her, I was so happy and anxious! She said that when she received the email this morning, she had made a tentative booking for us. So we will be meeting up this Wednesday, 630pm to discuss about the perks.

Yippy! I'm so relieved that the banquet is settled. That would mean I can proceed to book Andrew Tay for my AD. Somehow, I just cannot believe that this is all becoming true. In just 1 yr's time, I'l be marrying the man of my life.

Decision Decision

Went to visit the geomancy today. Sound like a snob over the phone, but was pleasantly friendly when we met. Didn't know that he was daddy's old pal.

Gee, he said that I would be fat and put on weight after giving birth. *dude*
And that FH would be fat as well in future *haha*

Uncle Chong adviced 7 dates in total for us. Initally, he told us that 2005 is not a good year for us to get married. Phew. Then we told him it's 2006, Jan, but he said it clashes with us.

And adviced to go for Feb, Mar and May21st!!! Alas, we cannot choose May21st 2006 because that would mean delay on our family planning lor, so we chose 19th Feb 2006.

As my parents does not know about our ROM planning, I was like erhm...when Uncle Chong asked when we intend to ROM. So I told him 21st May 2005 and he asked why so special on that day. *blush*

He said its a good day, but 17th May would be perfect, but alas, it's a Tuesday lah. So we sticking back to 21st May 2005 (Sat)

He also mentioned that FH should further his studies, take MBA or whatever to upgrade himself. *he stressed*
He also mentioned that goats are very revengeful and are demanding, always wanting their own way. For rabbits, he is very easy going, too easy going and needs to give in to me.

So now that we have decided on our dates, I'm eagerly waiting for June's reply if 19th Feb is taken for the Grand ballroom or not. Once confirm, going to pay the deposit and then head to meet up with Blossom and Andrew Tay already.

First Posting

wow wee,
after so much hesistation, I have finally managed to create a simple blog for myself.

Had a not so enjoyable day this afternoon. Was late for a bridal show at Amara Hotel, suppose to start at 1pm, but we had arrived 105pm, thinking we were late. But then, the bridal show was to begin at 2pm only. Chey. So we hang around...basically, checking out the bridal photos etc.

Was very impressed with the gowns designed by Irene's Creations. Love the bridal suites too, gorgeous and the poolside for solemnisation, fabulous.... Kept pestering FH to hold our solemnisation there next May.

FH told mother today about our customary date, only to find out that it clashes with the God's birthday and hence had to be changed. She suggested to meet up with her friend who is specialised in geomancy and to look for an auspicious date. Then I thought, I need the auspicious date to be a Sunday, in order for me to book the banquet venue! Argh..headache.
