It's a Girl

In the evening, we went over to my parents place for awhile before heading down to SGH to see my new born little niece. Before we arrive, Little Jodi couldnt tahan, and had a nap in the car. So poor hubby had to carry her. muahahahah. See his du lan face.
Then after that, we hurry up to the ward to see my niece Melody.
She was such a darling, so tiny, so fragile and so so cute..aiyo...

This afternoon, I tested the OPK again and it was a clear clear negative. so upset with myself for forgetting to test yesterday after we came home around 10pm. argh.

Bowie to check his teeth

This morning, woke up and got ready to send little Bowie to Dr Ling for his teeth check up. Feel kind of worried for him that he might not wake up. Upon reaching, I was to sign this form that says that the clinic will not be responsible blah blah blah etc. In any case, I just have to fill up my particulars and sign. So there, Bowie was left at Dr Ling's care for the X-Ray and I left with a heavy heart. Kept my hp in my jeans in case they call me up urgently.

We headed down to Ananda HQ to chase our refund. It has been close to 2 months and we have yet to hear any news. We are very shocked when we reached their 37th floor office. There was only 1 lady seated at the counter desk and the whole office is so so quiet. Inside the office, we werent sure how many there are, but hubby said since this is the HQ and this is the accounts departure, there should be quite a number of staffs. But I doubt so. The whole image of emptiness doesnt reflect well on their office leh.

Hubby was fuming hot and wanted to know when we will get back our refund. The lady checked and said they had processed the refund on 1st March and we should be getting back around mid May. Okay, fine, so we have no choice but to wait for the refund.

Then we went to Golden mile for lunch before heading to Suntec City to purchase my tripod which I want to bring for our honeymoon. While at Suntec, we saw a rehersal for emergency... From the photo, you can see there are 2 victims and the yellow guy is trying to put them up onto the stretcher. Whereas the red guys are examining what is the substance in the blue container.

We went to Vhive to take a look if they have any new dining table set, but then none I fancy. While walking back to the MRT, I called up the clinic to check if Bowie can be picked up. Yes, he can be picked up but Dr Ling wish to speak to me. Cham. What would have happened....

By the time we took the MRT to Queenstown, it was raining very heavily. We were both thinking how to fetch Bowie out with such a heavy downpour. But thank god, by the time we waited to see Dr Ling, the rain was just a slight drizzle. It was such a big relief to know that Bowie's tooth wasnt as bad as Dr Ling has thought it to be. So she has file his tooth and asked me to continue with the anti-biotics baytrill. The bleeding has also stopped and Dr Ling said perhaps the Baytrill was helpful. So she gave me more baytrill and asked me to continue.

While waiting to see Dr Ling, there was this lady with her mother sitting just next to me. She was sobbing and then we learnt later that her dog had passed away. So sad. She kept sobbing while asking for the death certificate. Poor thing. I would cry like hell if my rabbits die. In fact, I'm very worried when I have to place my bunnies with my parents to care for 17 days while I am away for honeymoon. One of my friend is now in Perth and is unable to help me look after Mian. My colleague has offer to help me look after 1 rabbit, so perhaps I will place Mian with her, since mum is keen to look after Junior. She sort of like Junior too, calls him coffee bean. muahahah...

I went to meet up with this girl to get the ovulation test kit that I bought to test. It was very interesting. I ordered some in as well to monitor my ovulation. After peeing on the stick, the result showed very fast, but I had to wait for 5 mins to read the result. This was how it looks like after 5 mins. You can see a very dark line which is the control line and I notice another faint line.

Can you see the faint faint line on the kit? I checked the website and it says negative meaning I have yet to ovulate, so gotta test tomorrow...

I dislike Mondays

This morning, I got up of bed, so tired. Hubby came to wake me up before he left the house in a hurry and did not muack me goodbye. sob sob....

Last night met up with my parents and bro for dinner. SIL is delivering this Sat via C-section at SGH. I'm as excited as my mum. The person who is most anticipating is my little niece. She cant stop talking about her sister. And have been saying that she will share things with her mei-mei etc. I used to be like her, wanting a younger sister, but out came a younger brother.

Hubby and myself got back home around 930 and had a shocked of my life. I saw the culprit in the kitchen happily running about! ARGH!!!!! I forgot to close Junior's cage! Damnit. God knows how long has he been out and exploring the whole house. He bit off the modem wire and exposed the wire liao. So I had to use black tape to tape it up. Argh. I have to faster get my dining table, so that my study table can be shifted back into the room and I will wrap the wires up with protective cord. Hubby decided Junior had enuff of fun and put him back to cage.

We hurriedly wash up and laze on the bed liao. Hubby was very exhausted, after helping out at the temple for the clean up once a month. I tried to get to sleep, but wasnt in deep sleep at all. It has been like this for the past few days. I'm physically exhausted, yet mentally awake. Ended up, I woke up like 4 times last night and even knew hubby woke up to the toilet. As I get into deep sleep, alas, hubby woke up and disturbed me with all the noises in the kitchen. Argh!!! The alarm went off at 7 : 05am. Time to take my temp.
I had to drag myself to work today. I hate Mondays. This Wednesday I am still thinking if I should take a full day leave. Mgt has just released email stating that 8th May will be a replacement holiday for us due to 6th May being a public holiday. If we return to office to work on public holiday, we would get 1.5 days of leave in lieu. I can opt to return on 8th May, then use that 1.5 days to take for this Wed. Then I get to save 1 leave day and still earn 0.5 days. mmmm..... Gotta check with hubby if he is working on 8th May or not.

Moreover, we can get to claim cab to and fro work too if we come back to work on public holiday. muahahahaahahah.

Argh, my tooth hurts leh. The stupid wisdom tooth is growing out of the gum and it is swollen again. Early this year, it grew out a wee bit and it hurt like hell, I thought I was having some tooth decay. Dr Tseng said it takes about 6 months for the tooth to rupture and so, the pain is on and off every few months. And the pain is back again.....

Bowie goes to the vet

This morning, I forced myself to wake up at 7:05am to take my temperature. That one minute wait was so long that I thought the thermometer didnt work. At last, the beep sound and it seems normal and I went back to sleep again.

Then finally hubby woke me up at 10:30am and we went to the market to buy vegetables for our bao-beis. Rushed home and got ready to send Bowie to Dr Ling at Namly Animal Clinic. Poor bowie has been sneezing since early this month and then his appetite seems to have reduced too. He doesnt rush for his vegs now, but only pellets. Even so, he doesnt seem to be as energetic as his mummy and sister. Worried.

Hubby said to take bus to Dr Ling, so we took Bowie for a bus ride. It was so hot and sunny in the afternoon. Brolly is a must to shelter Bowie from the hot sun. This is Bowie in the basket on the bus. He doesnt seem as terrified as his brothers.

Bowie is blind in his left eye due to Glaucoma since he was 3 months old. But his right eye is fine and he is able to adapt to his living environment.

Dr Ling said that Bowie seems to be having some dental problem. His back molar teeth, left side is overgrown and cutting into his tongue. The right side is also overgrown and seem to be cutting into his gums and there is slight bleeding. My heart sinked. She said it would be good to knock him out and double check on his tooth and might even X-ray on him. Upon hearing Bowie has to be knocked out, I am very worried that he might not be able to wake up. I have heard stories of bunnies not able to wake up after the anathestic. But this was the only way to check on his teeth. Othewise it would affect his diet and he would become thinner. Hubby said to go ahead. The appointment is made on 26th April, this Wednesday.

Polling on 8th May, it's declared a Public Holiday!

Received news yesterday via TV Mobile on the bus that voting is declared on 8th May and it is declared a public holiday for us Singaporeans. And that means the following Monday is a public holiday! Yippy!!! That also means we would work only 3-day work week for the 2nd week of May and I would fly off on 12th May liao! So excited!

Ah bush.Yesterday received 2 letters. One is a happy letter, the other a sad letter. Tore open the happy letter and it was my UOB Gold Metro Card. Yippy. Tore the other letter and it was from DBS, they rejected my application for the DBS Lady's card. WTH. Fine lor, dont want done. I'm happy with my UOB Lady's Card. muahahhaha

This morning I woke up and sleeply measured my temperature with my BBT. It stated 36.24. So low? mmm...But I am very excited liao, because I really wish to strike in May. But then har, i was calculating the dates and think if my period is regular, it would come at the beginning of my honeymoon and by Day 14, it would have been the day I return to Singapore! So Sad, then cannot have a made in Spain or Portugal baby liao. sob sob.

Can you smell the weekend???

Last night, when I was home, hubby had already cooked the soup and it was yummy, although there were only tomatos and dou-fu. It taste really good but hubby didnt allow me to drink the soup, say lots of MSG. He forever, healthy freak.

He bought shark steak too and pan fried it. I had 1 large piece and hubby had 2 small pieces. Yummy, it was his first attempt and it was nice.

While having night talks with hubby in bed, he said he had a weird dream last night. He dreamt that his wife wasnt me! It was someone else and he was shocked and actually woke up in the middle of the night and look who is sleeping next to him. And then he mumbled to himself, "correct leh, is her." and went back to sleep. muahahahah.

I had mixed feelings. One was, perhaps this dream is telling of a 3rd party intruding our life. I'm very paranoid about hubby leaving the family. So scare that I cannot be a good wife and then he will end up falling in love with another woman

Yippy, after work, I rushed down to meet up with hubby at Dhobby Ghaut and head down to Watsons and get the Basal Thermometer. Need to start measuring my temperature and keep track already.

My new hairdo

Took half day this afternoon to do my hair. Wanted a fuss-free hairdo when I go for my honeymoon, so reckon it would be good to rebond it. Hubby said a big yuck when he saw me. So upset leh. He say not nice. He forever one, always say not nice. hmpf.

I spent $210 on my hairdo and he say not nice. I did not even dare to tell him the actual price, but reduced it by $60 ah. hush....

Anyway, forgot to update that I bought another new balance sport shoe during the sale nearby my office. It was so cheap, so hard to resist at just mere $30. And so.....oh well, got a scolding but then aiyah, told him it was to wear during our honeymoon. muahahahah

The tour agency called us on Sunday and said that due to the airline Finnair not able to accomodate the group to fly back from Madrid, so we had to do the reversed itinery. And hence my last stop is in Barcelona instead of Madrid. Oh well, good also lah, because the budget airline vueling has many flights out from Barcelona compared to Madrid. So we are still waiting for confirmation for our return flight back. Haiz...anxious anxious

A New home for Junior

The weekend proved to be a fruitful one.

Sat 15th April 2006 aka wifey's day
Hubby promised to accompany me the whole day, since I accompanied him and his buddies on Thursday for a-la carte buffet at New Park Hotel. We went down to Gleneagles first to get the detailed bill and also to pass a form to my Gynae to fill up so that I can claim the fee from the insurance company.

Then we went out to Orchard to expense off the Isetan Voucher which is due to expire on 30th April 06. Had wanted to buy the porcelein Prata spoons, but bo leh, cannot find at Isetan liao. So ended only with 4 knifes. We didnt purchase the knifes the last time, coz didnt see the need, but then now realise whenever I ate Pizza at home, I gotta use the butter knife with fork. muahahah.

So then, we still have $25 worth of voucher, walked on to Isetan Wisma and bought gelato ice-cream at Tangs on the way. Yummy. Had Tiramisu and Bon Bon Rochor. Sinful.

It was a very leisure Sat morning for us. No pressure, no nothing. Went to Isetan Wisma, walked 2 rounds, didnt know what to get. In the end, joined in the Giordano sale and bought 2 tops, and hubby a polo-shirt. I found a pink shirt with cuff-link somemore that is now only $19. Usual price $79 and stupid hubby said he didnt want to get it. I wanted to kill him on the spot.

Then after that, we went to NTUC to get vegs for our 爱爱. Passed by the video shop and they were showing the 大长今. As usual, hubby got hooked at the tv screen again. We werent quite happy that his buddy's wife was taking so long to finish up the DVD that he borrowed from SL. We have been asking for weeks and why cant they at least pass us some few series first? I just dont get it. So I went to check out the price and it was $49 for the VCD and $79 for the DVD. Hubby buay tahan, and so he said he will pay for the disc and we went home happily, $49 poorer but happy to see the show.

Hubby had earlier promised Junior to get him a new home since we shifted to our home, but has yet to found one suitable. We were waiting for the Marchioro cage, but then no shipment leh, since Chinese New Year. So we went to the Joy Doggy shop at Upper Thomson Road to see. Aiyo!!! The puppies were so so cute leh, especially the Goldie. Wanted to enquire how much, but then, hubby cannot stand the strong scent and so we left to upstairs to see the cages. Saw the Marchioro cage, but then alamak, it was those pull out tray type which I didnt want. Wasted leh. Somemore the length is 80cm, which is the ideal. The other one which is the type that I wanted, comes only in 60cm. Haiz.. so we left disappointed.

Went down to Serangoon North to see instead and immediately spotted the cage that is length 80cm! But it wasnt Marchioro brand. But looks okay lah. The con of the cage is it can only be opened at the top and not at the front. So poor Junior has to leap out from his cage each time. I'm quite worried that he cannot leap out and might fall. Anyhow, hubby paid for the cage $60 and went home happily. Lucky by the time we reached home, then it started to pour heavily. Phew. Cleaned up Junior's cage and placed him in his new house. He seemed happy with his big big space now. But then he's making lots and lots of noise, moving his hay bowl, tossing the litter tray around. King-kong. He managed to leap out of the cage, but then, the 2nd time, he was abit clumsy. Other than that, I think he is very pleased with his new home. kekekek

Hubby bought 4-D, 6060, but that night, it opened 6063. haiz....Junior Junior.

I made an appointment with Chapter-2 tomorrow afternoon at 2pm to do my hair. Am gonna rebond my hair before I go for my honeymoon. I was reading the 8 days and saw the hairstyle which Fiona Xie did. it's sort of like a digital perm. I like it leh, very nice, but scare I dont know how to maintain it. Haiz. I suppose this would be the last time I can do chemical treatment to my hair before I get preggy in May. Yes, we are planning again and hopefully God will bless us with a healthy child.

Good Friday

Everyone is thanking God for a Friday to be a public holiday today! A least this work week is just a 4 days work week, shiok leh,but busy week lah. Today also marks hubby's 31 and 1st year old too. whahahah...He hates me to remind him his age.

Yesterday met up with hubby's buddies for makan at Lavender for Happy Chef Western Food. Apparently they are highly recommended. Quite okay lah. I ordered Pork chop then changed my mind, then the auntie give me a fucking face. Then she asked change to what. Then when I so hopping mad, wanted to say "不要竟。不许要给一个脸。"

But before I could say 不许, she asked again, 你要换什么。 So I faster say what I wanted to change to. kekekeke.. Then got to realise that she is the lady boss. Lady boss cannot like that one mah, right. But it's not correct mah. If I am lady boss har, wah, good business I happy until dont know like what lor.

Aiyo!!! Just had a bigbig discovery!! I felt something wet wet down there and went to check, yippy!!! My menses is here!!! After 8 weeks of waiting! I sure hope it will not be during my honeymoon leh. Cham, 4 weeks from now till my honeymoon is exactly 4 weeks! cham ah.
I sure do hope May will be constant, then we can start our Project B already. I am already catching the 新新mummy every Thursday at 930pm. Very interesting.

Now can start counting down to my honeymoon already also, since it's less than 1 month liao...goody....

Sun With Moon

Met up with my close gf for dinner at Sun With Moon at wheelock place. It is a very very beautifully decorated Japanese restaurant with a nice ambience.

Then we headed to our gf who is now a first time mummy's place just nearby. The condo that has the glass window facing the main road along orchard. The one that David Gan stays at. It is a very cosy place, I suppose it is so much bigger than my house. Boo hoo.

Her bb boy, little Rory is such a handsome boy! He is so so chubby. Had wanted to carry him, but didnt dare. Got butter fingers...Haha. Wait till I become a mum and shall see how to carry a baby.

Was in discussion with my gfs to purchase the birkenstock's sandals. They mentioned purchasing online with 4 pairs get free shipping!
