Wonderful Weekend

On Sat, my wardrobe was finally done up and that means my renovation is fully completed.
We are in preparation to shift in next Sunday, how fast.

In the night, we went out to eat Indian cuisine at Race Course Road. It was so crowded as the festival is just around the corner. I also took the opportunity to do my first Henna.

Then on Sunday, hubby and I headed out to a warehouse furniture sale at Tannery Road. I eyed one wooden table which we can opt to have forsted or clear glass on the table. In all, it costs only $380/- but we had to pay $50 for delivery charges.

Hubby still prefer the one we saw at Vhive that comes with a frosted table top. But alas, there is no more stock and the next shipment is on 3rd week of Dec and we have a gathering at our new place on 18th Nov. As such, I told hubby, let's use the ikea study table to make do with it first.

Deep in my heart, I still would want to find a wooden table that comes with a clear table top leh. Some how I feel it would blend into my house deco...Oh well.

We had also eyed on one 3 seater sofa.....

Lunch Time Toy Craze

Sneaked out 15 mins earlier before lunch time and head down to the nearby Mattel Toy Warehouse sale. Did not expect myself to head down to see, until colleagues said that the Barbies were dirt cheap.

Thought why not head down and see if there are nice ones and get some for my fav niece.

Ended up buying 4 barbie dolls, 1 barbie hatchback car, 1 Pisces Barbie(which I intend to keep myself), and 1 batman for my nephew(in case he complains that this aunt of his did not get him any presents)

I spotted many fisher-price toys and is really cheap and good if you have babies. Unfortunately, it would be another year before I become mummy, so perhaps till then, no toys yet....

Was just thinking back, last Friday during this time, I would have been at home, packing my bag for the lovely rendezvous at RC. Just last night, hubby was commenting, if only he is at RC for few more days. This is the first time that I see him so in love with a hotel stay. He said that he felt so comfy in the bed and I bet he must have love the bathtub as well.

Perhaps when it's our anniversary, I may organize just another surprise for him.

Fun that went wrong....

Haiz...It was a terrible night yesterday.

Was so happy to see hubby at the MRT when he picked me up, seems like he was in a good mood...so off we headed for home...

Then scarly, he laughed at me when he saw me trying to wriggle out of my jeans and said why I did that. It made me laugh thinking back, then who knows, out of fun, he took the clothe hanger and spank my buttocks and it hurt so much that I burst out crying!

I must have cried buckets, coz the tears just kept on flowing and I just couldnt stop as it was so pain. It got to a point where hubby started saying that I was frightening him when he saw me crying so painfully.

He ought to be guilty, ought to be frighten and punished. He is always like that, kidding around thinking it was nothing much. If you do observe some blue-black marks on my arms, it's his creation lah.

There was an angry red mark on my buttock, so pain. I gave him the cold shoulder the whole night until it started raining VERY heavily in the night with the loud thunder roar and I had to ask him to close the windows and place junior up the cage.

I sure do hope that he has learnt his lesson man. I'm not an iron woman for him to play with.

Back to something lighter, I have decided we shall go to Switzerland, London and Paris for our honeymoon! (Note the decision-maker is " I" and not "we") *grin* Am just looking forward to when I can take the aeroplane again!!!!

What a Day

This morning, I had contempated getting an MC and not turning up for work. The headache since yesterday afternoon just did not go away.

But then, after much thoughts, I dragged myself up from bed and headed to shower before making my way to work. Was reading the yesterday's newspaper and there was an article of a colleague who had taken part in the New balance Triathlon and had drown at the ECP. He's young and promising. But life is just so short.

Sometimes I wonder, if it's because of this philosophy of hubby that's why he sees things in a much broader view of life. He is always happy go lucky and doesnt take minor issues to heart, unlike myself.

Haiz, just dont feel like working today at all. There's a full day meeting in the afternoon and I reckon once the meeting end, there's tons of work waiting to be cleared. I dread next week as well, no doubt it's the Deepavali and Hari Raya Puasa, I've still gotta come back to work. argh!

It's another Monday

Oh boy, it's another Monday. I miss my fantastic weekend.

Hb and I spent a wonderful 3 days 2 night stay at the stunning Ritz Carlton, Millenia Singapore.

We've both taken half day off on Friday and checked in the afternoon. We are looking forward to a luxurious stay and to spend quality time together after being busy with our home renovation and wedding preparations.

We got a room on Level 13th (yeaks), Kallang View Room and luckily it wasnt that errie. Our room is at the 2nd last room right at the extreme end...

Once we enter the room, we are overwhelmed by the huge 535 square metres guestroom, which is about 25 percent larger than other luxury Singapore hotels.

The King size bed is so inviting and the fluffy soft pillow is so nice to cuddle. Hubby just cant help jumping into it to indulge in.
Then, the next place I headed to was the bathroom! Look at the view from the bathtub! It's so beautiful!

Look at the water shower head too, such a beautiful sleek design..

I love it.

Hubby cannot resist taking a soak in the huge bathtub....and admiring the beautiful scenery outside.

We headed for a swim at the pool only on the next day after much persuasion. I had wanted to try out the jacuzzi and the beautiful swimming pool which I saw from our level.
