Bad start

Yesterday was my first day back to work and it didnt start out well at all.

First after I closed the door, I realised I forgot my wedding band, so I went back in.

Second time after I closed the door, I realised I forgot my earpiece. I need it otherwise, I cannot listen to my fav radio station Class 95, so I went back in again.

Then while walking to the bus stop, I realised I forgot my jacket! But it was too late, I would have missed my bus. I am sure to be freezing when I am at work.

Waited till 8am for the bus. I missed the earlier bus. Tried beeping the ezlink machine, what the.....I forgot my ezlink card! I left it in the other wallet. So bo bian, have to pay in cash. aiyah. Reached the MRT had to purchase the ezlink card too and is not cheap to travel to harbourfront. It costs $1.50 for a single trip ah... and when I finally arrived at harbourfront, damn, the company bus has left! So I had to run over the other side to catch the other free transport.

Finally got to the office and I had 245 emails to clear. Faster clear, faster do my things and it was at last the end of the day.

Home Sweet Home

I am finally home at last....So so glad that I made it home in 1 full piece.

I was distrubed by the crazy neighbour staying next door at 6am early in the morning with his stupid noises. I was so mad that I screamed at him " Shut UP". Argh. The night before, he came back to his room at 12 plus and was making such a hell of noise. We werent asleep yet as we were packing up our bag still. If we were asleep, I would have called up the reception to complain about him. Inconsiderate freak.

We had our last breakfast and it was the smiley uncle who was on duty that day. He really brightens up my day and was very fatherly and friendly. Although we couldnt communicate as he doesnt speak English, we somehow know what he was talking about. We took photos with him and before we left, he blew me a flying kiss. My only regrets was not giving him cheeks-kissies before I left and when I was in the cab, I regretted deep down.

On my first day of breakfast, I was having breakfast alone and that uncle was on duty and served me coffee, as I didnt know where to get it. He pat me, smile to me and asked me to eat up. That warmed my heart.

We arrived at Barcelona airport very early at 8am. The cab fare was very expensive. The driver added another Euro 10 (no idea why) and total came up to Euro 33.50. Hubby was so kia su, he said we needed to Q to check in and to claim our VAT. And we found out that we were only allowed to claim VAT at the last country before we arrive in Singapore, so we had to claim only in Helsinki. Alas. So we spent that 3 hour + at the airport. I was so tired, I sat on the trolley and slept and insisted hubby to push me around.

We started flying at 6pm Singapore time on 27th May from Barcelona to Helsinki. At the departure area, I couldnt resist stepping into the Loewe shop to look see and didnt expect myself to purchase a handbag at Euro 205, which is about S$410. This is the only chance I can get to purchase, otherwise, back in Singapore, it's going to be really expensive and hubby wont allow me to indulge in such luxuries anymore. So is now or never.

It took us 4 hours to Helsinki and I was glad there wasnt any stopover at Stockhalm. Phew. We arrived at the airport around 10plus Singapore time ; 430 Helsinki time and had to wait 7 hours for our flight at 1135pm Helsinki Time. We thought we would take our own sweet time to shop at the DFS area, since we have 7 hours to spare, but who knows, at 630, we saw the shops all starting to pack up and realised that they are closing at 7pm! So we hurriedly went in, purchase some souveniers and 30 bars of chocolates that costs us S$120.

So anyway, we dilly dally here and there, walk from one end to the other till it was time to board the flight. I am so so glad that the plane wasnt 100% full and no one was sitting beside hubby, so we got an extra seat! But aiyo, hubby wanted to put the bag on the seat. He said the bag contains all the branded stuffs and was afraid someone would steal it. Our floor below our seat was very hot, so I couldnt put the bag on the floor. Well, in the end, I managed to convince hubby to put it up at the top cabinet. Phew. Otherwise, I wouldnt be able to spread out my legs on the seat or even lie down to sleep through the night.

The flight took 9 hours 45 mins to arrive at Bangkok. Unfortunately, someone came up and sat beside hubby so it was back to being squeezy...

When we finally arrive in Singapore, I was so happy deep inside...Rushed to the DFS shop to get my clinique blusher, but they didnt have it at the arrival hall! So upset leh. They only have it at the departure hall. Damn. So in order to simmer myself down, I bought 2 bottles of Vodka. mauahahahahah.

Mum, Dad and my niece came to fetch us home. It was wonderful to be home.

Big shopping spree

26th May 2006
Today is our last day in Barcelona before we catch a flight back to Singapore tomorow.
Hubby has promised today will be my day, my day of shopping till I drop.

First stop, I headed to Zara to grab more tops that costs only Euro 3.90 and 7.90. Cheap bargain. Spotted on 2 pair of denims too. Got them in one size bigger so that I can wear it during my pregnancy. *grin*

Then we headed down to Louis Vuitton and buy the coin pouch for my gf. It costs Euro 105. I ended up buying a mini wallet for myself too at Euro 175. Hubby couldnt find anything for himself. Hubby was kind of paranoid that we would be too attention grabbing, so he suggested for us to walk back to our hotel first to deposit our items before coming out again. Fine lor.

After depositing our items, we went to the Port Vell to feed the fishes with our bread. Our bread was turning mouldy, but still can eat lah. Wah, lots of fishes leh..And they were really huge. The pigeons caught our attention too and I fed them with some bread too. They arent afraid of humans! Instead, I was the one afraid of them! Once the others knew that there is food, they will all fly over in groups. I got scared, so I stopped feeding till only one or two is around and the rest are gone. Phew.

Once that was done, we walked back. I kept contemplating if I should get the LV bag that I saw just now. Hubby left the decision to me and I told him, okay, is now or never, so I am getting it. As we walked back, we chanced upon 2 lost souls carrying their bagpack. They seem lost and I told hubby wanna offer help bo? So he said okay. Then as we approached and hubby asked do you need help? The guy said yes. It turned out they were Singaporeans and coincidentally, the wife is hubby's old neighbour! It's really a small world isnt it and fate must have brought us together. Hubby said they hardly bump into each other back then and of all places, we bump into them in Barcelona.

We offered to help them find their apartment. It was a really decent apartment, like a 2 room HDB flat. Not bad, plus furnishing was relatively new too. Better than ours. But then it is hidden in the back alley, so they gotta set their curfew early to head home. We took on as a day tour guide and showed them around La Ramblas and gave them tips too. We went to LV and Gucci together.

I had initially wanted to get this Papillon. Then hubby said he saw girls carrying in Singapore and it was common, so I gave it up and aim another one. I cant seem to find the bag on the website leh. I saw a girl carrying that bag to work. It can be handcarried or be sling. It's sort of like a cosmetic bag.

Then I saw one customer trying on this Popincourt Long. And it was like Linda's bag, except it was a sling version.

I asked the sales assistant if there is a version which has handles, and he has it! He took it out and yes, it was exactly like Linda's bag.

I swear we both heard it was Euro 405 and that was why we bought it. It was only when making payment, we found out it was Euro 505 instead. But aiyah, after much calculation, I had better buy something that I like rather than regret when back in Singapore. They bought a guy's messenger bag from Gucci and some pouch too. Wah, they easily spend more than us and sign card one wor....

We had dinner at KFC before calling it a day off. At least for today, hubby was happy that he met someone from our homeland. And I am happy that I finally got my very first LV and Loewe....

Montserrat....Day 12

Today is day 12 of my honeymoon and we are off to Montserrat this morning after days and days of persuasion.

We had earlier purchased the Trans-Monsterrat train cum cable car ticket yesterday at the information counter located as Placa de Catalunya. There was quite a huge crowd yesterday filled with all the ang mohs, seeking for advice and ticket purchasing just like us. There was also a shop that sells souveniers made in Barcelona. The counter staff are damn talkative and very unhelpful too. I witness this ang moh lady trying to ask the staff to show her where to get to her hotel on the map and she had to ask twice in order to catch the staff´s attention. Horrible. We went down there to purchase some souveniers and as usual, they were yakking yakking.

I would consider today to be a very fruitful day for me. Note the word is ¨me¨ and not ¨us¨, because half the time, hubby was just SOOO paranoid about the pickpockets and safety that he just kept rattling every 30 mins to check if my safety wallet was still around, passport around, money around. argh. buay tahan.

Breakfast at the 2 star hotel was expected : crossiant, a packet of biscuit and unlimited coffee. This was our first breakfast since we arrived yesterday afternoon at our new hotel: Hotel Cuatro Naciones located along the busiest street La Ramblas. We departed our hotel at 930am to Drassanes metro to catch the R5 Train Manresa at Placa de Espanya.

Hubby felt safe whenever he saw policeman patrolling along the street. Otherwise, you will die hearing his nagging all day long. Metro was quite empty this morning, so we managed to snap a few shots of the metro underground. The train cabin was rather empty too, so at least hb felt safe once again that we wont be pick pocketed. It took us just 15 mins to reach Placa de Espanya. The distance between the metro stations is short and hence, it was quite fast. Imagine the whole street of La Ramblas, there are 3 metro stations located.

Once there, we searched for the R5 Manresa station due to depart at 10.36am. The journey to Montserrat Aeri is 52 mins and 5 mins up to Montserrat for the cable car. The scenery was quite nice lah, although mostly is mountains after mountains. It wasnt long before we arrive at Montserrat Aeri to take the cable car up.



The air was so so fresh and cooling at 21 degrees and there were many other ang moh tourists too. We had our tuna sandwich lunch and chocolate cake. Pathetic, but good enough to fill our hungry tummies. At 1 pm, we headed to the Basilica to listen to the well-known choir and to see the Black Virgin.

The cathedral was beautiful inside with the lightup. The choir was magnificent too. We headed to join the queue to see the black virgin. It took us about 10mins before we finally got to see the black virgin.







We snap photos here and there and took the Sant Joan funnicular up to the mountain. The view wah, damn nice. I had wanted to go to the place where there is a cross situated, but it´s gonna take us 50 mins and hubby was already grumbling to get back. argh. How to enjoy myself like that, hurry here and there.

I bought a few stuffs too, keke, need some retail therapy. We left, feeling tired back to Barcelona. I coax hubby to let me head to the Arc de Triomf monument to take a shot. The bus turistic didnt head that way, so since we had time in the evening before heading back to the hotel, might as well head down to the metro Arc de Triomf , snap a photo and go.

I am so so glad that I went down there to take a shot. *grin*

Sob sob, I couldnt sleep last night. Kept tossing in bed. When I managed to get to sleep, I had a nightmare again. I dreamt that I was back at my old home at Hougang, took the lift to the 6th floor and as I was walking along the corridor, I heard footsteps at the staircase and suddenly there was this plump girl wearing specs targetting at me, laughing and running towards me. My legs seem to have frozen to the ground and I couldnt run, I wanted to shout for help, but no words came out from my mouth and then I shouted and was awake. Hubby got startled and woke me up quickly too.

My honeymoon...Day 1....

12th May 2006 Friday

I'm glad that my flight is a night flight so that we can spend the whole morning preparing. Hb didnt come home as he went to the temple overnight, so I stayed at home to pack up. Early morning, we had to prepare our stuffs, wash up rabbit's cages and send them over to my colleague's place and mum's place. It was kind of rush and worst, it rained heavily.

By 6pm I was at my mum's place and having a quick dinner. Then realise that the camera memory card didnt match our canon S3 and rushed down to Sim Lim to get the memory card. haha. I'm always last minute.

At the airport, we gathered around to wait for the tour guide. I was getting worried that my luggae would be overweight and so I started opening up and removing some clothes that I thought I wouldnt use. Haha, ended up with only 2 clothings and a bag removed. heng the luggage was 18.5kg only ah. phew.

13th May 2006 Friday
Singapore Time : 1100am
Helsinki Time : 600am

We have sat for 13 hours on flight since last night from Singapore and I cant wait to get out of the plane. It is so squeezy and I can hardly stretch my long legs or to get some good sleep. I managed to doze off at 430am and was woken up at 10am (5am Helsinki time) for breakfast. The sky was so bright and sunny at 5am when it looked as if it is already 9am Singapore Time.

One thing good about night flight was that I was able to do some stargazing. The moon and stars and the planets were so close that it seems I can touch them. I even managed to catch a few shooting stars too.

My wisdom tooth gum is hurting again. I hope it doesnt give me problem on the trip. I suppose I may have to undergo surgery to remove it. Argh.
It's another 40 mis before we land at helsinki and the air temp outside is -50 degrees. Snowflakes are forming on the window panels and they are so pretty...

15th May 2006 Monday
We are now on our way to Caceres from Toledo. It's a 4 hours drive. In the morning, we headed to Toledo, bidding goodbye to Madrid. I'm quite upset that we didnt manage to get any souveniers from Madrid. All shops were closed yesterday and today as it is their public holiday. Wanted to get a real madrid top at euro20, then decided not to as I wanna save up $ to shop at mango and zara. We also had our first Ben & Jerry ice cream, yummy at Euro 2.70 per scoop.

While at the shopping belt, we caught first hand people on strike. Not sure what they were protesting about though, couldnt understand...

For our meals, we had chinese dinner and today's lunch we had spanish food. Vegetable soup, chicken with fries and vanilla ice cream. It was quite nice. We had to order drink at E2.50 for a bottle of orange. Hubby had E3.00 beer.

We have a very rowdy group from KL whom we all didnt really like. They were really noisy on the bus that we can hardly hear what the tour guide was talking about. Argh, they are so terrible one leh, smoke whenever they have a chance, talk so loudly, so uncultured. And they are drinking whiskey on board too.

Hubby and myself are both very tired after travelling non-stop. We had 2 nights stay at Madrid and we tried to sleep around 10 to 11pm. The hotel is Hotel Puerto Madrid, think it is a 4 star hotel. Very nicely furnished. I love it.

6:17pm : we have arrived at Caceres. Population is only 90,000.

While at Toledo, we visited Santa Tome to view the renowned masterpiece by El Greco " The Burial of the Count of Orgaz". This is a very interesting painting done by El Greco himself. No one is looking directly infront except 1 man and that man is the painter himself. In the picture there is a child pointing to Count Orgaz. That child is El Greco's son.

18th May 2006 Thursday

Today is Day 7 and we are heading to Seville now. Temp in morning is very cooling and is only 15 degree and both of us love the weather. But it can get quite hot in the late afternoon, around 29-30 degree.

Yesterday night, I had a bad nightmare again. It was my 2nd nightmare since we arrived in Spain. I recalled that I was sitting in a circle with a group. Cannot recall who they were. Then I said I needed to go back, so they said okay and I shook my head to go back. But I was stopped by this person and I dont know who he was. He tried to strangle me and I could hardly breathe. I knew I was in difficulties and started to clasp my hands tight and pray hard. And finally, I managed to wake up. Hubby pat me because I woke up screaming for help. He was so funny, he tried to open my eyelid. haha.

The creepy thing was when I was showering in the morning, I noticed a reddish mark around my collarbone area. Eeeks. Seems like a spot where someone strangle you. How scary can that be!

We had a half day free time to shop in Lisbon and I took the opportunity to shop. It wasnt a pleasant shopping time because I was having cold war with hubby. Yes, cold war during our honeymoon. It was that bad. It all started the day before when I was shopping at zara at Continente, a new shopping mall. Then hubby was getting impatient waiting for me that he said some unpleasant stuffs that spite me and that was where it started. So yesterday I had to shop quickly, made my own choice. Like it, I would buy it. ended up with 2 spaghett top from zara at just E5.90 each. I also bought 2 baby top for boys and 1 dress for baby girl all around E3.90 to E7.90. Hubby said there is a saying that you should not buy baby stuffs before you conceive. But I dont believe in that. For me, after coming so far, i have to get something for my baby. I also bought another 3 tops.

I bought a pair of sandals too. I cannot stand wearing covered sportshoes for straight 17 days. Cannot tahan. I have been searching for the sandal since the day before. So I got myself one that costs E19.95, which is about S$40.00. Damn expensive, considering in Singapore I can get it at $19.95. Argh, nvm. In fact, I have packed my sandals in my luggage but all because of hubbyb, he asked me to pack 2 sport shoes. So I took out my sandal and regretted.

I eyed 1 spagghett top which I like too. E9.90, but I didnt try it on, because the dress has tiny holes which can see your flesh when worn. I didnt dare wear. Now come to think of it, I really miss that top. but at S$20, the top isnt that worth though. But at least today's retail therapy was satisfying.

We went to hard rock cafe as well and I got a pin and a small shotglass for souvenier. Didnt saw the bear otherwise I would get it as well. Hubby bought for his sister instead. hmpf.

We didnt step into LV yesterday though, because hubby said to go only when we are in Barcelona. I do hope to see something I like. I still like the Gucci wallet I saw at DFS. It's a card holder cum small wallet pouch. Am thinking if I should get a bag as well. Shall see if it is too expensive or not. Linda got a LV bag at S$800. said she saved about $400.

My menses not here yet...worrying..How to have a made in spain bb like that.

21st May 2006 Sunday ~ one year ROM anniversary

Yesterday night, we arrived at our hotel close to 12 midnight as we had our paella dinner at 10pm only. Today is our 1st year ROM anniversary and I was hopping that we will not argue or quarrel but who knows early morning, hubby started to throw his temper and it proviked me and ended up I was so fed up. I asked him to go and eat his own breakfast and I am not eating mine. I was just so mad for what he is rushing me daily. Bad mood.

Excited excited....

Oh boy am I very very excited....Tomorrow is the night that hubby and I will be spending 17 days for our honeymoon. I'm anxious, wonder what to expect, wonder what to buy and shop. Most importantly, wonder if we would quarrel or be lovey dovey...mmm

We have yet to start packing our luggage and I'm getting quite worried. I've gotta start packing to night alone, because hubby is going to the temple with his mother till tomorrow morning then back home. By then, he is sure to be dead tired. And so I am left with all the packing to do. Must remember to bring toilet roll, tissue paper, medication, my jacket, washing powder, toothbrush, toothpaste, body foam, BBT, OPK. I have yet to get disposable panties and my contact lense solution ah!! Cham cham. Must rem to get it today at Tiong Bahru on the way to MIL's place.

I sure do hope I can sleep well tonight, as I'm gonna be alone in the whole house and I'm quite a scarly cat. keke. It can get real quiet at home. Was thinking of going to my mother's place to spend the night, but then, dont know I will pack till what time.

Tomorrow is going to be a busy and hectic day for me. Gotta wash my bunnies cage, shift them to my parents place and then shift Mian and Junior to Lilian's place at Woodlands. Gotta find out where is the place ah.

I'm also in the midst of setting up our webpage but I'm hopeless case. I know nuts about HTML and the whole damn website is driving me crazy. Argh. How to launch website like that. And hubby isnt doing any much help either, simply by yakking yakking and this and that. I threw my temper yesterday when he kept bugging me to do up the credit card payment and I was rushing for the packing to be done. Argh. And worst, he cannot remember if he did sent out the M1 bill yesterday. He said he seem to have misplaced it. See lah.

I sure hope my wisdom tooth isnt giving me problem again. I had just 3 days of peaceful painless moment and this morning, the pain seem to have returned. cham lah. pray hard pray hard.

Busy and Lazy week

This week seems to be the longest ever week I have to get by. Yesterday was suppose to be a non work day for us at work, but I've to come back to work, in order to gain the additional 1.5 days leave in lieu. Furthermore, cab to and fro can be claimed, and lunch is provided at $10 per head. Why not? And I am so in need of leaves too. I've already expensed off the 1 day leave 2 weeks back when I brought Bowie to Dr Ling. ARGH! Talking about Bowie, I've forgot to feed him his Baytrill last night! Aiyo!!!

Hubby and myself are busy busy busy. On one hand, we are trying to set up our website so that we can get our business going. On the other hand, I'm so clueless as to how to set up a proper website! And the thing is, I dont have enough time to set up a website. And furthermore, we are departing SIN this Friday. I yet to find someone to look after my bunnies too and probably have to leave them at my parents place. Cham cham Cham.

Polling Day

This morning, we woke up, changed and head out to cast our vote. There was quite a long Q, but as the people there worked very orderly, it wasnt long before it was our turn. One comfort point to note is that those agents were very alert to note any elderly and to let them cast their vote first. Good point.

While waiting for our turn, we noticed this lady asking the agent where to queue. Then the agent directed her to the line. Then another agent told this agent that this lady has already voted. Think they were confused, so they let that lady remain in the line, until another senior agent approached the lady and told her that she has already voted and each person is allowed to vote only once. The lady rebuked that the person gave her back the voting form and so she thought she can vote again. Then she remarked, "voting is fun mah" and walked off smiling. It occurred to me that she may not be mentally well. mmmm..

Anyway, after that, we rushed to market to get our vegs before heading home again. Today's a full pack day for us. We had to change our baby S3 as I noticed there was a slight dust at the corner of the lens and it cannot be removed. The guy was out for lunch so we went over to OG to shop for awhile and I ended up buying this really sweet purple top that I fall in love at first sight. The guy at the shop tried removing it, but was unsuccessful so he took a new S3 for us. Then hubby was so determined to purchase this ridiculous cheapo looking blower at $20, which I said no way. And he still said he want to buy. I gave him a very very black face and kept grumbling all the way out to the road that he raised his voice and pissed me off. So I told him to give me the house keys and I went my way to the busstop and headed home. I was so so mad at his attitude. Then later, I kept sms-ing him telling him my reasons and told him to go back to the shop to exchange for a bag instead which cost just $28.

When I reached home, hubby called and said he has changed the stupid blower to the bag and asked me to meet him at beach road to purchase the wallet pouch. Well, after awhile, I wasnt so mad already, so I agreed to meet him Kallang MRT.

We went to beach road and bought a deuter security wallet and a sling bag that cost just $5! Cheap. Then we went to mustafa and got the TOYO mini kettle to bring along to europe. Water is very precious over there and is expensive too. Moreover, not all hotels that we are staying have kettles. I also am very unsure of using their kettles too, so hubby bought 1 to bring along.

Finally back home after having dinner at Hans with hubby's friends at Far East Plaza. Cant wait to upload the photos that we have taken and tried my hands-on photo stitching. Wah sey, not bad leh, very easy to use also..

In another 6 more days...

In another 6 more days and I'l be away from Singapore. Hooray! I'm so excited just watching the days go by. But then I am also very worried, because we have yet to get our security wallet, extra universal plug (thinking of borrowing. Anyone?), medication.

And after yesterday's big buy, we are declared officially bankrupts. Boo Hoo. Our joint account is now a miserable $50 bucks okay!!!! And my withdrawal limit has reached the maximum after hubby tried to withdraw out money to exchange for Euro. And worst, Euro has appreciated to 199.40, when just last week, it was 197.70. See lah. So dui leh, should have changed earlier. And yesterday hubby only managed to change half. We still have another $4K to change.

This weekend suppose to bring over Bunny and family to my parents house, then we will shift back also. But then no lorry and then we have yet to pack our luggage also. cham lah cham lah. I had wanted to find this friend who stays nearby my place to bunny-sit Mian, but she is now in Perth. Then email another friend, she didnt reply. Sob sob. Got a nice colleague who owns 2 sweeties, Hebe and Tiffany, who offered shelter for 1 bunny, so either Mian or Junior. The photo below is Tiffany. She very very very pui ah...I was telling colleague she looks like a duck when resting...Mum wants to look after Junior, coz he used to follow her early in the morning around the kitchen, thinking she has food to offer him. Once, mum left the cupboard opened and Junior ran in to play with the clothes. Mum closed the door not knowing he was inside. She notice he wasnt in his cage and look around for him. Afterawhile, she gave up thinking that he will come back home later. Then while ironing, she heard noises in the cupboard and opened up. Haha, there he is.

Here's a photo of Mian when he was young about few weeks old and when he's now all grown up.Haiz...dad's been complaining that Minty keep snapping at him while he cleans up her cage. She's a real hot tempered girl, doesnt like things right in her face and anywhere near her, she will just dash and snap. Whereas, Bunny is over sociable. She will just go over and sniff your hands and nudge for a pet. I'm most worried about Bowie. He hasnt been eating his xiao bai cai and only celery with mini tomatoes. Baytrill doesnt seem to cure his snuffles. Really worried. Wanted to buy the Pro-bac at petmedicinechest but is really expensive including the shipping cost because they have only 1 type of shipping. Sigh....

After 22 days of charting, my chart shows..But it's really weird to see my temperature fluctuating up and down...mmmm...

We've got the canon S3 SI

Okay, here goes. We have bought the Canon S3 SI eventually. haha.

We went to Sim Lim Square to take a look at Canon S3 SI and Panasonic FZ7. I knew hubby wanted the FZ7. It is very light easy to use. But then I still like Canon. I asked alot of questions and the saleguy was very nice to offer to print out the photos for us to view. Cool. At least we can compare it.

Panasonic or Canon

Talking about cameras, hubby got all excited and assigned me the task to search online. Found my good buddy for help since he is into photography and has wide knowledge on what is good and not.

He recommended the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7.
But I like the Canon Powershot S3....which is the latest. But then hubby say the screen have to open up he doesnt like it.

Oh goody goody...I am just so tired mentally to keep searching and emailing and waiting for those hotel's reply if they have any rooms available. So I just decided to stick to Hotel Cuatro Naciones located at the busy streets of La Rambla, 4008002 Barcelona

And also, is one of the cheaper hotel that I can find along La Rambla. The other hotel Hotel Principal was fully booked from 22nd to 27th May. Sob sob. Otherwise, that would be a better hotel to stay in. Anyhow, I sure hope we will be so dead tired by the end of the day that I would just slump onto bed and snore away. Sure dont want to be awaken by the noise at La Rambla.

Anyhow, I'm now thinking to have a day tour out of Barcelona. Mmm...Still die die want to try out the budget airline leh. If it's like SGD50, I sure take, but it's like SGD100 to and fro. Worth?

Today at office work like mad man, so many things to rush and finally managed to meet hubby at harbourfront MRT to head home together. There is the PAP rally going on tonight at our place and we are going. While walking home, was stopped by this man who asked where is the nearest place to buy things. So I directed him to the Whampoa Drive where the Community Centre is. I think to him that is very far because from the way he replied, it's as if Wah liao, there you consider nearest? He even asked me do I stay here and if that is also the place where I purchase things. Arbo-then. Think what. Got provision shop there tao-qio liao lor.

Pretty Dr Lily Neo has many many supporters ah....look at her here giving speech...The way she deliver her speech so cute one and she spoke in Mandarin, although very funny accent, but then cute lor. muahahah. She has lots of aunties and ah pek supporters wor, dun play play.

Rally Weekend

This morning, we went to attend our pre-departure briefing for our honeymoon to Spain & Portual. Aiyo, majority of our group people are elderly. I think there are only less than 10 who are youngsters leh. Abit disppointed. But also okay lah, coz that means should there be anything they are unhappy about, they will complain and they really buay paisay to tell the tour guide off one leh. Good. All English speaking somemore wor. Not bad.

Hubby and myself, no. Perhaps myself, I am so confused and in such a dilemma as to whether we should just stay in Barcelona for the remaining 5 nights, or should we explore within Spain by taking their budget airline. Hubby isnt keen to take their budget airline. We had intially wanted to fly to Amsterdam, but then the air ticket alone is already $800. Plus accomodation, will come up to about $1500 for a 4 days 3 night. After much thoughts, think hubby also not keen, so that proposal was banished. We even went to library to borrow books on Amsterdam, make me gian, go internet find the hotels liao, got rooms liao, then now say dont want to go. Fed up.

Then now 5 nights in Barcelona, buay xian meh? Let me fly to Madrid for 2 nights I also happy leh. So here again, I am confused. Should we fly to Madrid not. The airticket is very cheap to fly to Madrid. Say about SGD100 to and fro. Hotels can easily find too. Afterall, in our tour, we are to spend only 1 night in Madrid. Where got time to explore the whole place. But then deep down, I think this proposal also sure gena banished one.

Wah, this weekend, hubby and myself went to attend the rallies by PAP and SDA. PAP was held at the very hot Potong Pasir and SDA was at our place. At Potong Pasir, you can feel the heat and the supporters hor,alot leh. All rooting for Sitoh Yui Pin. And then just 15 mins later, special appearance by our PM Goh. Wah, the crowd applause leh. I was telling hubby, wah liao, forget to bring my camera leh. Stupid me. PM Goh summarised the whole talk and said he is the mountain for Sitoh and he will support him. I bet Mr Chiam has a very strong contestant this time round.

Over at our side, surprisingly despite the heavy downpour and slight drizzle later on in the night, lots of people turned up for the rally for SDA. Amazed.

I tested the OPK tonight and seems it is showing a positive line now. As compared to yesterday, the line was much clearer. Funny though, think on Friday, it was a very clear negative, then scarly now it shows the 2 lines. mmm....weird. Could it be that I am ovulating on CD18 now?
