I was looking for items for rie's classmate goody bags then chanced upon this spree on sandart and inkart. I'm so glad I bought the inkart for R&R to do. It's really fun. You would sometime see little corners at shopping centres where the kids sit around a table and do those sand and inkart. Its the same.

The finished product. Not very nicely done leh, first attempt. Maybe we didnt put enough ink. It's so difficult to get my idea across to rie. If she is the chairman, I think I will quit my job. See the pix below.

I told her the umbrella inside let's have it in light blue. She did one side light blue, then decided she wants the other side pink! And then I told her, it's not nice, coz umbrella first portion is pink, then your ribbon bow also pink. She insisted she wants pink. Okay fine.
Then after that, I asked her, how about the face? She said, hmmmm, PINK. No matter what I try to persuade her to use the other colours, she said no. Hello kitty is a girl, so I have to use pink.
So I gave up and let her do it. This isnt the first time I am facing such difficulties in trying to convince her.
Just yesterday, I received this little jumper that I bught for rie. It's so cute and I had wanted a raspberry fabric, but it was OOS. So I bought a pinkish brown one. And then, just as I expected, the fussy girl refuse to try it on for me! It's so frustrating that I have to keep threatening with THE CANE.
Her excuse? "I dont like it. It is brown, not pink!" So sadly I have to sell it off.
It was the same during CNY, when I bought for her a dark reddish cheongsum that she first eyed. And so glad there was in her size. Then scarly, she changed her mind when she saw this jiejie wearing a light pink one. So I said, okay, we buy this light pink. Then she changed her mind and said, she dont like it, coz the flowers are not pink, but white. She wants pink flowers, but dont have! And I got so angry, I just bought the first choice for her and she grumbled and cried all the way home that she dont like it and will not wear it.
It lasted till at least 3 days after I bought the cheongsum. Thankfully she wore it on first day of CNY without much fuss and to school too. Heng.
And then, next her, birthday cake. She wants a princess design cake, so fine, bengawan has just revamped their design and is very pretty. So they have this set of A to Z where each design is a different princess. So naturally, rie should take "R", but she wants a "H" because that princess Aurora is sitting down, whereas the one on "R" is standing up.
Her excuse? Princess must sit down. Then we tried days after days to tell her, your name starts with "R", not "H" and that people will ask, why did you choose "H"?
And so, yesterday, before the 48hours notice is up, we called up bengawan and changed from "H" to "R" after she decided to have "R" for her school party. And that's before telling us, she still wants "H" for celebration at nainai house. Okay, fine lor.
And then, even with clothings and shoes, she wants to make her own decision on what to wear etc etc. I guess for now, only I can decide how I want to tie up her hair. Girls right.
Maybe I should take back my words. Boys also the same. Tsk tsk. Reyes, when in a chairman mood, will decide what colour underwear he wants to wear, what tees he wants to wear. I still am not able to make him wear the other shoe that he needs to wear when he starts school. Cham. He's so in love with his crocs.
I allowed him 30mins of playtime at the playground one afternoon when the sun was hiding behind the cloud. Never seen him so happy since Dec, since we bared him from outdoor play.

Love him to bits, and he knows I love him alot. Must cherish him, coz next time, he will be someone else's.
