I remember when rie was young, hb used to take the hankerchief and wrap around her face and go " Dutch lady dutch lady.."

So last night, I tried that on reyes and tad-dah....He found it very funny and kept laughing too. Managed to get a video of reyes roaring..will upload when I have the time and energy.

Upset rie...

Rie was so happy to head out to NTUC for a walk.

BUt it ended with her being so upset. She was just merely holding onto this plastic bag filled with Barney's hat and then this stupid NTUC auntie came by and said to her "cannot tear open ah."

Then hb had to add oil and say auntie scolded her and she started bursting in tears...Kaoz man.

This is the 2nd time she cried in public and both times happened at NTUC! The first time was at the TPY branch where this uncle was gently reminding her to be careful of the battery holder, coz it may poke her eyes. This uncle was so much friendlier and better, when rie started to cry, he still came over and said that he wasnt scolding her, he was just telling her to be careful.

But that stupid auntie? I bio-ed her from the side man. Feel so upset for my girl, to be cast guilty when she is not.

Reyes

Reyes is getting much more fun to play with!

Now he knows how to "roar" like a lion...Trying asking him " How do you roar like a lion?"
He will "Roarrrrr" He now knows how to indicate to us where is light, air-con, photo frame, Sun(his favourite), Chip & Dale, Carrot. Started him on flashcards too and he knows how to pick out the rabbit picture card..Good job reyes.

Day 2

Okay, day 2 of diaperless in public.

It was tiring. Yes! Me! I kept bringing rie to the toilet and kept asking if she wanna pee. And she enjoys going to the toilet!!!! Argh...Apparently, she thinks it is fun to watch me sanitize the toilet seat, she pulling rolls of toilet paper just to wipe her own butt and washing her hands with the soap dispenser and the automated water tap. Tsk tsk..

Thumbs up for paragon ladies toilet. They have this special cubicle that has littte children's toilet seat. And they are clean too. Rie kept telling me she wanna poo, but each time I bring her to the toilet, nothing, just pee. Poo finally did happen before we went home in her panty!! Argh! And the toilet that we kept going was closed for washing and had to run to the other toilet and there was a long Q.

No choice, thicken my face skin and asked the lady infront if she can let my girl go first. Of course I said loud enough so that others can hear that my girl want to PASS MOTION.

And so that is day 2....more days to come along. I hope she can learn to control her pee long enough the next round. I think she still cant control is well enough. Sigh.

I'm planning to send Reyes to St.Andrews Junior, which is just a busstop away from our place.
IT should be less than 1km, but of course, have to double check again if that is the case.

So what if we are less than 1km? If lots of people less than 1km are vying for the seat, then got balloting to be done. Considering PV? Well..that's a chance for me lah. Either I PV and get a higher chance to get in to the school or just opt for the last Phase 2C and have a wait and see situation.

For Rie, that's the big problem. I would like her to get into CHIJ TPY, but then we are staying close to the 2km distance and every year there is balloting conducted. Very very slim chance to get in. To get in, is as if you have just strike Toto. Hence alternative? HOng Wen primary which just shifted not long to Towner. So nearby, very convenient. BUt yet again, is a SAP school and they are very strong in their Mandarin. I wonder if Rie can cope or not too. And then same question yet again, do we fall within the 1km? Should I consider PV? Sign....not easy to be parents hor.

OKay, if you notice, I've switched my shoutbox from the shout dont know what to cbox liao..After getting complains from regulars that they cant tag me..So I hope it is working fine now...

Just the other day, we drove past the new LV outlet at Ion Orchard and wow wee, there was a long Q leh..tsk tsk...Why must Q to go in leh? Gee...yet to find time to walk about orchard. Hubby is sick of going to orchard to shop whenver I ask him to. He is there 5 days a week, said he is so sick of the place.

Updates...

Reyes turn 9 months 2 days back. And just yesterday(19th July), he has learnt how to crawl on all four! Hubby witnessed it and so did I...So happy that he can now crawl, but still not stable.

However, he loves to pull himself up to stand at the sofa, kitchen playset or anything that he can pull up with all his might. So scary. I've ran out of the kitchen many times to his side when I saw him standing up at the sofa. Once, he even cruise from one end to the other end! So not safe. If he falls back, that's it...

And he totally hates the walker now. Will yell and scream and refuse to put his legs down, but then sometimes no choice, have to sit lah, like say meal time. I think is only soon that I have to keep the walker already, as he can now stretch himself and nearly drop out of the walker. Hubby managed to get the overall for rie during lunchtime...So cute! cant wait for her to wear it out. But har.....To go pee, have to undress all leh...aiyo..headache.Did I mention it was my first time letting rie go without diapers in public on SUnday? We went to United Square and I was telling hubby, I'm left with only like 5 more mths to go to train rie go without diapers outside. And so he gamely said we will try that day. Brought along extra pants and panty, just in case accident. Made her pee before we left..

Then when I wanted to let her try on this overall, I undressed her, then she told me she wanna pee! Imagine me rush like mad to dress her up again. There was a minute where I wanted to just carry her out topless to the toilet too! ahahahaa..

And so off we went...Heng no people in the toilet. And yes, she did pee.Then after that, went back to try the overall.

I'm thinking har, if she now uses the public toilet, will wiping the toiletseat with the toiletpaper be clean? Paranoid about how people use the toiletseat leh. Plus, coz the toiletseat is too big for rie, she has to use both her hands to support herself on the seat..So dirty. Thought I remember seeing someone selling this toiletseat sanitizer...hmmmm...

Retail therapy...

Surprise surprise. Hb was the one who jio us out to shop!

Okay, so we all head dwn to United square, our new huntplace to shop for clothings for reyes. Need to get him some decent shorts, so managed to get 1 short and 1 denim jeans and got rie a stripe top too!

I spotted this overall jumper in khaki, very nice! Dressed rie up in size 4 and it is just nice. Too bad there wasnt size 6, and so tomorrow we are heading dwn to Paragon. They have only 1 piece left and I cant seem to trust hb to check on this last piece. You know lah, I"m very particular one. So I suggested to him that I will bring the kids dwn in the evening to meet up with him. Will I survive the journey myself? Gee....

But I sure cant wait to get my hands onthe overall and let rie wear them! It is so cute lor, makes her look so grownup. And from buying size 18-24mths, I"m now looking at the range size 4-6 already...It just reminds me that my little girl is growing up fast and I had better cherish my time with her now, before she finds me a nag.

Update abt my canvas, well, rushed dwn last night to show the girl and she just need to iron the canvas and voila, it is as good as new! Chey, sld have told me mah, made me waste another $8.60 dwn. Heng there is a straight bus back to our place and the journey was quite fast.

Reyes....it was really warm...

disappointed....

I have just collected the canvas this afternoon.

The lady didnt allow us to go up her unit, so all of us had to meet her at the void deck. (Mistake #1)

Then the canvas was already shrinkwrapped, (mistake #2), so I didnt want to unwrap and check.

When we arrived home, hb removed the wrapping and then under the spotlight, we could see this fold mark on the canvas! HOw disappointing! I paid $64 and was expecting a good turnout, but....

I smsed the lady and she wondered how did the fold come about?? (How would I know?) And asked if I wanted to bring back to show her...If I had car, I would bring back, but to travel down with 2 kids all the way to show her, then what if she cant do anything to it, then??? So upset.

Nonetheless, have emailed her and shall see what she replies. Already I was quite disappointed with the cropping done with rie's pinky missing..haiz...double blow.

I was still keen to order more prints, maybe ought to try another lady's BP.

My first canvas...

Tah-dah.....This is rie's first canvas done up. Was expecting a better cropping at least. Rie's pinky was "chopped off"...sigh..IF you look at the whole pix, would you notice it if I didnt tell you?

BUt overall, it is nice. The main focus is still on her smile. Will definitely do up more. My plain walls need deco. But I need nice pix!

Snore...

Time now is 3:00am. I had just finished marking the worksheets, took me 2 hrs and 15mins. There are still lots of backlogs at the centre, cant finish all a a go. Few weeks back, I took 5 hrs to finish 1 big pile! Marked from 12 all the way till 5am...snore...

Now I can understand what a teacher goes through marking and marking...

Mum has been bugging me to get rie proper shoes for her to start wearing and getting used to it before she starts school next year. Been searching online and there are many many cute shoes! Was thinking of just letting her wear the nike maryjane shoe. But wear so expensive, dont know will get stolen or not hor..later rie comes home barefoot! ahahahah.

Another issue is the school bus. Haiz...I am really really worry about rie taking sch bus at such a young age. In terms of safety, in terms of how she is taking the journey, how I cant follow her for the first few days to sch, unless I take public transport myself and meet her at sch . Been bugging hb to get a 2nd hand car. Something cheap and yet still can use, so that I can ferry her to and fro sch. Plus, there are couple of mums nearby who are thinking of car pooling and if I can ferry them, can cover abit of petrol too. But..looks like it is not gg to happen. daydream...

Reyes fell down and hit his forehead on the floor. There was a slight bruise...sigh...heartpain. He is getting alert about the environment and will protest when we place him in the walker. I think it is time to keep the walker, but then I dont know where to place him for mealtime! My high chair is with dad and I dont want to bring it back. So ma fan.

Papa helping little rie to catch the small fish..It was no easy task! There was a sign stating no adult fishing, but then we have to help rie right? The fishes swam away so fast as soon as they see us approaching...

Reyes shakes his head...

Past few days, we notice that reyes would shake his head. Hb was getting worried that reyes has some muscle problem and wanted to see a doctor.

But hey, after observing for few days, we notice that he actually shakes his head to let us know he doesnt want something, ie NO!

For example after feeding him 3/4 of the porridge, he would protest and start to shake his head. Last night, hb gave his biscuit and he doesnt want and he shook his head too! Is so funny to see him shake his head.

And when I said "no no no" he would shake his head too! ahahahahahh

Been teaching him things around the house and now he knows light, sun(we pasted pix of the sun on our bombshelter mirror), air con, photo, chip & dale, carrot. But he doesnt takes a liking to flashcards like his sister leh...hmmmm....

Happy Birthday Bro

Today we went to join dad & mum & bro at Carlton Hotel Cafe Vic to celebrate bro's birthday.

Prior to that, we had to return the car at Tan Chong Tower, nearby. Sad day...

We only managed to spend half the day outside driving.

We went to Cherie Hearts nearby our place to take a look. At the time of visiting, the kids were having their nap. Poor rie was crying, kept telling me she wanted to go to school after we had to leave.

Next stop was at Loong Fatt where I finally manage to grab some Tau Sar Pia. My first taste of it was when KC bought some over last year. Miss eating it. And yes, even though I stay so near, we have never venture the food stalls along Balestier before.

The lady owner was nice to offer rie 1 free tau sar pia and she finished it all in the car.

We then headed to my ex company. Wah, so much changes along the way. It was really nice to see all my ex colleagues once again. Miss working life. But at the moment, i wont exchange back to working life yet. Time with my kids are too precious.

Dad told hb on Sat. Kids now are of the best age to play with. When they grow up, and you want to play with them, they wont even bother you. This is so true, coz my niece who is now in Pri 2, she would just sit quietly and watch her cartoon, dont even bother you. Last time, she will greet us happily, ask me to help her paint nail polish for her, do girly stuffs, but now? I miss those times.

Anyway, after that, we went to TPY to grab some toiletries before going to United square to get the bakerzin cake. For your info, they are having 50% + 10% off this month! I got the choco amer this time and it is chocolate mouse, delicious!!!! You should go grab it, just $23.60 if I am not wrong.

Rie was fast asleep by then, dead tired...

Singapore Flyer

Brought R& R to Spore flyer this evening...I should have agreed to bring rie up to the flyer after hb asked me! But I said no. And rie was soooo disappointed and upset when we had to leave and she realise she didnt get to sit the ferris wheel.Sigh..By then it was already 8pm and we need to head off to my parents place.

The carpark was not cheap hor! We got stucked at the gantry. Was suppose to charge us $3.60, and then dilly dally, then up by the time we got out, we had to pay $4.80. Hb grumbled like hell.

Tried uploading photos but blogspot is giving problem, so only managed to upload one...
It was a nice walk, brought back memories of the place before flyer was built. This place was also our pak-tor place. Often dropping by after work after dinner, sitting at the edge, enjoying the beautiful scenery and breeze...It was a misery to part after that everytime. Haha.

And now, I'm back with 2 kids....amazing how time flies.

Tiring Sat!!!

Just a quick update...

Had fun driving around Pasir Ris the whole of Sat.
Brought rie to Kids Kampong at Pasir Ris Farmway.
Small place, nothing as fantastic as what appears on their website. Kind of disappointing.

Got rie to play catching longkang fish. End up hb and myself helped her catch and we gave up after 6 fishes. Not easy okay! And the guy, he took a look and said, aiyo, so little ah? i give you more okay? Haha...

Not cheap too! $14/hr. And to enter into another feeding compound, you have to pay $1/pax. I was quite upset to go inside. There are rabbits in the hutch Without water, without food.
There are chickens hungry, ducks hungry, fishes hungry. It wasnt a nice sight to look at and parents and kids are happily feeding them food. I was thinking the owners dun feed them, coz he expects customers to feed them! And IF the animals are not hungry, they wont be eager to receive the customers food. Upsetting. Am gonna write a feedback to the owner about the rabbits.

So pitiful okay. The water bottles were of mineral plastic water bottle attached to the cage and the stupid sprout kept dripping water. So no matter hw much water I fill it up, it will drip and drip away, till it is dry. The other cage had a feeding bowl and I refilled it with water. Rabbits rushed to drink, imagine how thirsty they are and especially on such a hot weather. There wasnt any hay either for them to eat. I doubt they get their daily dosage of vegs..

The other cage rabbit drunk from the water bottle. BUt I guess I cant do much, coz once the water drips all, they will be thirsty again. The other cage had long haired rabbits and the fur was very matt.so poor thing.

I hate to see such scenes...I went home and look at JUnior. He is so much fortunate.

Reyes...

Wah moonlight, I see you are finally spending some time to update your blog with more pic of kae! Cant get enuff of seeing her!!!

Seems like many babies are sprouting teeth liao har..but my little reyes is still bo gek leh. Might as well too. HIs sister sprout the first tooth at 13month only. Perhaps he will take after his sister.

Reyes has learnt how to hold the bottle and drink by himself! So at least I can spare sometime to cook his lunch, clean up the mess of the toys etc while he drinks the water...Woo hoo..Happy of course! Rie only managed to learn how to drink on her own at 11 months. Good job reyes.

Little riesia is behaving more and more like me! Just today, reyes poo poo and I overheard riesia imitating how I often chide her :

Didi 大便 har, never tell mama. Notti boy. mauahahah

Tad-dah!!!

We collected the car this evening...So excited! I love the pink colour! If I were to own a car, I would get it in pink! Love it so much!

Well well...I told hubby.

Before marriage, we were afraid of getting pregnant.
Now after marriage and after 2 kids, we are even more afraid of getting pregnant!

Last month, after my period was delayed, hb went to grab the good old brand Clearblue without my knowledge! Yes, silly isnt it? I'm in the ovulation & pregnancy test strips business and yet he bought another brand!

Insisted on me to test, despite my protest and yes, it was -ve.

This morning, I tested again. Just to ease myself lah. Coz for the past few days, I've been feeling cold, especially my fingers and toes in air conditioned room which I dont usual feel so. I love the aircon, but past few days, I had to borrow riesia's small blanket to cover myself on top of our big comforter...And the temp was set at just 26 degree.

I had this symptom when I was pregnant with riesia and reyes and was exceptionally sticky to hb. That's how I discovered I was preg with reyes! The night before I tested +ve, I requested hb to sleep with me and kept me company. He thought it was very unusual. ahahah...

Anyhow, was glad it was -ve lah. I cant imagine being pregnant when reyes is just turning 9 months old. I will die. No, I wont die, will go crazy.

Grand Copthorne Waterfront Buffet

IT was totally unplanned. as usual.

We already had some plans for this evening to head down to Baby Avenue off Balestier Road to take a look at the stroller carry strap after dinner. BUt at 5pm, dad called to inform that dinner has been booked at Grand Copthorne Waterfront.

I had nearly closed a deal on the carry strap at $10 with postage. If I had not hesistated last night, I would have transfered the payment and full stop. But itchy me lah, wanted to take a look, so dad offered to send me down.

Hb came along with reyes. I saw the strap. Selling at $19.90. Asked for discount and was given just 10% which members get. $17.90, is $1 more than what is selling at baby hyperstore at Kaki BUkit. I know I know, considering the time, the bus fare, it would be more than a dollar.

But that means, is $8 more than $10 which the girl is selling to me! I said I will consider and walked out. Hb started questioning me my weird action. He knows, it is not the first time that I see something and then end up saying I consider and then come back few days later. I told him the girl in forum selling me at $10 only.

Then he started to rattle me to just buy lah. Go all the way here already see for fun and then go back to square one to buy from that girl just to save that $8? Haha...so I rushed back and bgt it lor. I call it the hubby impulse decision. I guess to men, they will never understand why women are so calculative over $.

Just like my other gf, her hb lectures her too when she shops online for clothings that are sold in Spore. And the savings? It is juzt few dollars.

Oh well, I'm also happy lah, just bgt the strap. Rather than transfering the funds to the girl, wait for her to post to me. Save it lah. **Am trying to convince myself that $8 is peanuts..But is NOT TO ME!!!!**$8 can buy alot of things leh...算了

So well...back to the buffet. They are having promotion 1 for 1. Food is good. They have drunken prawns, laksa, the usual stuffs. Brought rie for a walk over the bridge...nice scenery.

I didnt realise I had "cut" off our feet. Just as well, coz I was barefoot! Used my sandals to support my hp to snap this photo...

I'm starting to dread going to buffet....

Hb bought the cookies & cream cheesecake and half of it was gone by 10pm last night...It is that delicious as compared to the NY cheesecake..$18.80 nett. Go reserve first before it is gone.

I didnt want to label "unplesant weekend at RTC" as my title. Didnt want to remind myself of it, but I need to vent my anger somewhere...

We went for a swim on Friday and Sat. Friday was superb! We had the whole pool to ourselves and the whole bathroom shower to ourselves too.

But Sat was terrible. There were so many kids and plus there were 3 birthday parties going on for that day! We swam till around late evening. There was this old hag with 2 kids, probably in the upper level Primary or even lower secondary level. We noticed this old hag, coz she was really like an old hag, permed hair, very very fat tummy and still dare to wear a 1 piece swim suit. Awful piece of course.

So, well, unfortunately, we stopped swimming at the same time and waited to Q for our turn to shower. I first showered for rie before reyes turn. Rie was done and when I stepped out, there was this mother and son waiting, so I thought to myself okay lah, let them first while I go dress rie up.

Rie was done, my mum took her in the cafe and then that old hag was waiting for her turn after the mother and son. Her 2 noisy kids were still in the pool. So I stood outside at the bench with reyes and hb. Then I thought, forget it lah, dont shower for reyes, coz he was really tired and dressed him up. The 2nd unfortunate thing was, that old hag didnt see me dressing reyes up as she went in the toilet to wait for her turn. Previously she kept coming out to watch her 2 kids, so she waited OUTSIDE the toilet door.

Dude. And so, after dressing reyes up, I carried him while hb showered. And when he was done, I went inside to wait for my turn.

I purposedly cough to make my presence, in case that old hag thinks she is the only one around. The 3rd unfortunate thing, she is deaf must be!

Another young girl came in and waited. I got feeling she wanna jump Q. Hmpf. Stared at her. Then that old hag daughter came along and shouted for her mum. Her mum told her she is gonna be ready soon and asked her to wait. And still that old hag thinks only she and her daughter are in the toilet!!!!

When the mother was done, she opened the shower door and GUARDED the entrance of it while asking her daughter to come shower! KNS, I walked over with my items and said : EXCUSE ME.

She ignored me and still continued to call her daughter. I repeated myself and she said " That's my daughter."

What the hell lor, so what? Can jump Q? I rebuked her back and she made her way out. I showered less than 5 mins and was out. Feeling so buay gam wan, I shoot her back
"Daughter so what? Daughter no need to Q? People also Q-ing."

Wah, and that provoked the old hag and she said " I am Q-ing on behalf of my daughter okay. If you are Q-ing, why are you outside?"

BLind bitch. I was inside the toilet, OUTSIDE your shower door waiting for 10mins! You must have been inside for 20mins taking your own sweet time showering!!!! Fuck you.

And so, the other young girl was left waiting for her turn....

So fed up man, came out and grumbled to hb. And when we returned the bath towel, we realise there were many other changing rooms at the basement where the spa was! Next time we shall head there. What luck RTC has to have this unreasonable old hag as a member.

To this old hag, you are setting a bad example to your own daughter by letting her jump Q. If she ever grows up with bad manners, you are the cause of it. Bitch.

I let reyes sit on this toy car for the first time. He Loves it when his sister pushes him around the house...

The kitchen playset fell onto reyes this afternoon. Cried big time coz the playset hit his fat thigh. haha. I couldnt stop laughing! Bad mommy lah. LIke a huge cupboard collasped onto a small kid.

I love Fridays. It's the begining of a weekend. And although my weekends are always packed, I enjoy every moment of it...

Some updates about my boy.
He has finally learnt how to push himself up from the lying down position to sit up! HUray! And now he has learnt how to hold onto the baby cot rail and pull himself up to stand. That spells DANGER....So I gotta start lifting the baby cot rails when I'm out of his sight.

But sigh..he is still refusing to crawl on all four leh. Been doing leopard crawling everywhere! Tsk tsk.

Buffet again...

Today marks my parents wedding anniversary. How many years they have been married? I really dont know as a daughter! ahahahah

We celebrated at Carlton Hotel Durian Buffet. Wah, nearly everything has durian in it for the desert! THey had durain cream brulee(yummy), durain cake, durain pudding, durian bubu cha cha and durian cream in the peking duck!! It tasted weird and I requested not to add in the cream. But I forgot to take from the counter, so didnt get to taste it...

There was also fresh durians for you to eat outside their cafe. Just select the durians and the chef will open up for you to enjoy. I was too full by then and only managed to eat few seeds. Mum ate 3 durians!
