Yummy Fish & Co

I'm counting dwon to 530 pm now, it's another 15 more mins. Our studio called up yesterday to say our albums are ready for collection. But I've just called them and the albums arent at their studio yet...so still awaiting to see if I should head down...

We are going to Bugis to makan Fish & Co. I'm starving right now, and the tots of the fish and the prawns, gosh. Yummy.

All of a sudden, just miss my bunnies. I am already starting to worry for them when we fly off for honeymoon. How. I want to see them in 1 whole piece waiting for me to come back. I sure hope they dont think that I am deserting them. My heart will break should they be gone before I return.

One more day to the weekend!

Yesterday the invites were all given out. Another task done. Pending would be my parent's invites and that would settle all.

Even the seating arrangement has been done for my friends and colleagues. Yippy!

Our sofa finally arrived yesterday after a month's wait. Cool! We finally have a proper sofa to sit and be coach potato! I love it so much. But it also makes our living room smaller....

Last night I had an amazing dream. I dreamt that I was 3 weeks preggy and I was at this clinic that the Gynae told me. In the dream, I wasnt happy neither was I upset. I was just confused and wonder how come it happened so early when my wedding was just 3 weeks away only.

I remember vaguely I did a test kit and the sign was a "+". mm..then after that I woke up. I told hubby about it and he laughed it off, saying if I were pregnant, he would have strike 4D that easily. Hmpf.

Terrible nightmare

This morning, woke up screaming. Terrible nightmare.

I dreamt I was with my primary school friends on a bus travelling back home. When I alighted the bus, I had to walk along this dimly lit shophouse passageway.

Then I heard footsteps behind me. I turned and saw a guy walking behind. Thinking that he would overtake my path, I walked slowly to the side. Who knows, wah liao, he suddenly smack my buttocks okay and I screamed like hell Molest!

I turned around and saw that he was starked naked and in his right arms, he was holding onto a child. I tried to scream louder, but no voice came out. I saw a car parked at the side with a middle aged lady and 2 guys sitting next to her. I tried to wave at her to grab her attention, but she quickly drove off upon seeing what happened. I tried to run towards her, but I cant.

Then that's when I woke up screaming. Very often whenever I have nightmare and I desperately want to scream out loud in my dreams I cant. I came to a conclusion that it is because I was sleeping and so even though I am awake in my dreams, I cannot shout. But the funny thing is, I am able to speak normally to my friends. mmmmm....

what a mad rush..

Friday night, Bunny didnt want to take her dinner. And it got me worried. She simply just wanted to lay there and rest and rest. I was very worried that she might get GI and started to massage her tummy hoping to get any air out. But does bunnies fart? I dont know leh...

She was still as energetic and excited to greet me early in the morning when I fed her breakfast. When we let her out to roam the house, she just wanted to remain in her cardboard condo and not move. Fed her some of her favourite treats and she didnt want it.

Next morning, hubby woke me up at 8am saying that bunny didnt take her breakfast and simply crotch at a corner while the other two ate up their pellets like hungry ghosts. This is serious. I felt her tummy and it was bloated. Cham. I have to rush her to the vet. I was hoping to see her regular vet but who knows! The stupid recep said that Dr Ling accepts strictly only by appointment and no walk in. And bunny had to see the other vet that was on duty and I didnt like the idea to see another vet. Besides I wouldnt know how experience this other vet is. Bunny's life is at stake. But that morning I had no choice. So it was a 1.5 hr wait before we finally got to see the other vet.

Checked her tummy, checked her teeth...my heart was pounding real fast. There was silence as the vet listened to her tummy for any abnormal sounds. Then she laid her judgement. There was very little gut sound produced in her tummy which is resulted from little intake of food since bunny didnt take her breakfast and dinner. Her tooth are fine and bunny was given Critical care to stringe feed with Acidophillus, vitamins and painkiller as I told the vet bunny was grunting her teeth as I massage her tummy.

So we rushed home and I let bunny settle down and gave her pellets and water to see if she would eat. Amazingly she ate them hungrily and drunk the whole bowl of water. I was so happy that she was eating again. I fed her the medication and let her roam the house. She was feeling much energetic compared to the night before. At least my mind is at ease when I left the house to the wedding studio.

The album layout is printed and looks huge. It appeared to me that some areas I had miss out on the touch up because the photo on the computer was so small that I hardly notice it. But it looked different when it was blown up. Aiyo, but nothing can be done. The first page where it showed our rings, hubby and myself did not even notice there were white boxes overlapping the photo, so when we saw the layout, we were like, erm...were those white boxes there? Oh well, even if we didnt like, nothing can be done leh, so just let it be lor. It wasnt like an eye-sore either.

We managed to get back our jpeg files too and had to select for our hotel and our videographer to do up our photo montage soon. I'm glad hubby was pleased and satisfied with the photos, otherwise.....

Another rainy day...

It's yet another rainy day...and the office is freezing cold! My fingers are turning numb!

Hubby's having a 3 day course at Tanjong Pagar and wakes up later than I am. Hence I had to resort to bathing in cold water as our stupid heater needs few mins to heat up the water and by the time I woke up, there's isnt enuff time to heat up the water.

Hubby said he had a weird dream last night of Junior giving birth! Dude. Junior gave birth to 2 rats and 2 bunnies-1 look alike Junior and the other Minty. And that was because Jun and a rat had mated! yucks. But wait a minute, Junior's a male! ahaha, so hubby was really amused by the whole stupid dream. Must be stressful thinking of becoming a father.

Last night we met up with our hotel co-ordinator to discuss the final miscellaneous issues. We have also chosen our wedding favors~ an oriental looking keychain and a bell. The wedding themes wasnt so fantastic and that got me into a fix. Sigh....

Rainy Day....

Oh boy, I love the bus driver who drove the bus this morning. So fast and smooth and I arrived 10 mins earlier for the MRT. Had the time to get a quick breakfast from Macs.

It rained hours and hours yesterday and the weather was so nice and cooling. Bunnies were all cuddled up in their bunny hen style to keep themselves warm.

I spent my day printing out my invites, folding the cards and started doing my wax seal on some. It was interesting and I am getting the hang of it. Although I used more wax for some seal, argh, nonetheless the sense of satisfaction is there when my imprint sits so perfectly on the envelope.

Last Sat, headed out for high tea with mum, dad and my niece. I hit the dessert counter immediately and got 4 American Cheesecakes and 1 dark chocolate cake. Yummy man. Wish I could eat more of the cheesecake.

Then we headed down to our studio to look at our photo's layout. I'm indifferent to the photo layout though. It looks simple and neat, unlike those albums that have special effects and bubbles like from outer space or universe. On the whole I'm quite satisfied. We will be going down this coming Sat to see the print layout...

A love-hate relationship

This morning, the bus arrived on time. But it was crawling at walking speed, damn it. I had a very strong urge to walk up to the bus driver and ask him to speed up. It seems so clearly that he is driving so slow towards the traffic light hoping it would turn red. I stopped at nearly all the traffic lights until I finally reached my destination.

Argh!!! So mad. The bus was on time and past through the traffic lights on Tuesday and I managed to catch my train on time. But since yesterday, terrible terrible. I was left with 1 min before my train arrive and had to run.

Germs are flying in my office, with her coughing aloud without covering her mouth. As if she wants the whole world to know she is sick, so that in case she suddenly takes MC again tomorrow, people will not be suspicious and think she geng one.

If sick, then still can take leave and enjoy next week's holiday??? Hmpf. To think I was contemplating if I should take leave on Monday and who knows, she reacted faster than I can say "what". And end up I've gotta cover up her work yet again. The management should pay me half of her salary man for doing double jobs. argh.

Rabbits @ Work

Last night, I did not want to wash the laundry. But hubby was in a %^$&* mood that he asked me to wash the laundry. It's quite unusual, as he is always the one who is nagging that laundry should be done twice a week only to save water etc. So each time I select the water level, I have to ask if it is sufficient. Otherwise, if it is too much and he happen to lift the washing machine cover up to peep, that's it. I'm gonna face the music yet again.

Okay, back to my story. On Monday night when I was doing the laundry, I noticed water around the washing machine area. And I discovered that the water hose had tiny holes in it and water was dripping out. Well, you can guess who's creation it was. And so I thought by turning it upside, the water would stop and it did. But last night, the whole area flooded again.

So everything had to stop, hubby shifted out the washing machine and I pulled out the hose to snip it off. After about 20 mins of figuring out and cleaning up the soapy water, voila. Hubby's gonna get a water hose tonight. And of course, his darlings got a lecture as well.

I prepared bread this morning but had a sudden craving for Hotcakes, so pop by McDonalds to get my breakfast. Yum Yum. My tongue's developing an ulcer again. Argh! Did I eat too much fried and oily stuff again....Grr....

A whole new world

Sigh...it's another year yet again. Time really pass by so fast. Year 2006. It also marks the year of my wedding which is just next month!

Somehow, I am feeling excited, eager and yet part of me am feeling as if I dont want that day to come. What if I have stage fright, what if I get nervous? What if things didnt turn out the way I want it to be?

It's now 1 month and 17 days left and I have yet to source for my bridal car, assign my helpers duties and my ang bao box! Oh dear oh dear. Plus with so many festives last Dec, I'm putting on the weight again. Imagine this Sat, will be bringing my parents to Hilton's High Tea. Oh man ,their signature cheesecake, I sure do hope they have it on that day!

Our photo studio called and we will be heading down to see our photo layout this Sat. Wonder how it will turn out to be like. Hubby told me last night that he is not going to top up for additional photos anymore. *boo hoo*

We have finally got our sofa on 30th from Picket and Rail. It will be delivered this month just before the Chinese New Year. I sure do hope it looks and feel good! How excited. The dining table that I had liked was the only piece left in Walnut colour and as such, I have to source around again. argh. Now we just have to make do with the Ikea Study Table. Dude.

Up on my to-do list is to start sourcing for our honeymoon tour package. Tradewinds seem to have quite good deal for a 12 days switzerland & italy tour package. Just have to see when hubby is free to head down with me to check it out.
