Stupid handphone...

My handphone is going haywire again. I dont know what is wrong with it, but I keep hearing echo at the background while talking and sometimes I can even hear my own voice!

I think har, this handphone wont last me for 2 years leh....so cham..haiz.

Time for haircut...

I'm dying to pamper myself with a wash-blow-cut soon, but am delaying it till probably next month as I have a wedding to attend on 20th Sept. Thinking maybe then I will trim my hair so that can make a nice appearance at my best friend's wedding.

I've always stuck to the same hair stylist once I have found a suitable one. It's been close to 4-5 years liao since Chapter 2 started and I've stuck with her since then.

Previously when I was still in secondary school all the way till university, I was with another stylist at the serangoon Central NEXT salon. But I found it such a chore to travel all the way down liao and plus, I didnt like the fact she kept layering my hair till so messy.

And now, I'm facing the same problem with my current stylist. She loves to layer and trim off lots of my hair, coz she deem is very heavy on top. But then, as time goes by, I get lots of flyends and I didnt quite like it. My last visit to her was in Feb, just before my loyalty card points expires. And since then, I"m growing my hair long, thinking maybe this time I just want a trim so that during confinement, i can still tie my hair up in a bundle.

Any recommendations for good hair stylist? Reasonably priced also hor.am going broke paying my gynae's fee, delivery fee and upcoming confinment nanny fee...sigh...

We went to this Lory Loft, is such a beautiful place.....and the lories were flying about so freely.


Rie was very fascinated by the birds and kept wanting to catch it. but I was very terrified of them, coz they were flying, zooming all over whenever there is food.

So we could only stand nearby to watch. Hubby had wanted to pay $2 for a cup of bird food so that he can get upclose and personal with the birds, but end up didnt...

Bad nightmare..

Last night I had a bad nightmare. I dreamt there was a bee in our toilet. And the bee's sting was stucked and hence it cannot fly off. And so to kill it, I sprayed lots of baygon on it...

Then all of a sudden, it slowly transformed to become my BUNNY!!!!! And then I was so scared that I killed bunny and kept crying and asking hb to rescue it down. Once down, I kept splashing water on her face to get rid of the baygon smell....Splash and splash until I woke up with my heart pumping very very fast.

Hb complained that I snored so loud he cannot get to sleep at 530am. Sure not? I never know I would snore..hee hee. He said he wanted to record it down as evidence in case I deny which I did of course

Sept's coming....

This is the last week of Aug liao, how time flies...I'm down to just 2 more months to go before I pop in Oct...Am getting excited, anxious and damn gan cheong liao..

Rie's still having fever on and off and have been feeling very grumpy lately. Dr Tan jab too high up her thigh this time and when she wears her diapers, it kind of rub against the bump, so I think it was painful for her. Aiyo..so heartpain. Dad questioned me in the car again lor, asking me how many more jabs to go and if it's compulsory or not. I am so sick of answering the same old question each time rie goes for jab.

She's left with the chickenpox and 5 in 1 jab. I'm still considering if I should let her take the hepatitis A jab which is not compulsory...Sigh sigh...

Now that sept is coming, I'm thinking how to celebrate my bday this year. THis would be my 2nd year celebrating with riesia. Thought of booking a hotel to stay and have some nice dinner. But hb sure to nag about spending more money. So I think this option is out. And besides I dont know if hb would be able to take leave or not.

There's uncertainty for hb's future now. An agency called him up yesterday for an interview just after he submitted his resume on Sat night only. So fast right? And the company is arranging to meet him tomorrow liao. The work is very much related to what he is doing right now and I think he may have a good chance to get in. However, IF he is selected, that means come Oct, he may not have enough leaves to accompany me during my confinement. And he wont be able to take leave so easily as and when needed. How. But I hope this new company he wont have to stay back so late at night for his closing. Let's see how the situation goes...

And for the expected pay, dui lah. The agency told him, $XXXX is not a problem. That means he is asking way below their budget lah!!!!! Sld have put high high amount and then put negotiable..let's just hope they have much better benefits than his current company.

Housewarming and philips sale

Sat is a wonderful day, but alas it kept raining the whole day..Nice weather lah,but we didnt bring along any brolly..sigh..

We woke up early, fed rie lunch and headed out to my ex sup's housewarming party at Bishan. She has just shifted to a mansionette that she bought at 568K. Tsk tsk..Very spacious and nice lor. Not stuffy as well. When we arrived, there was already a crowd of ex colleagues..All were very surprised to see me with a big tummy nonetheless, coz I didnt announce to anyone except for 1 ex colleague and my ex sup. hee hee..

At TPY MRT on the way to Bishan...

Riesia was immediately drawn to the "mini childcare center" in the living room area. Faint man, so many kids and I cant figure out whose kid is whose. Was worried for rie's safety as well, coz the other kids were much older and were rough at play...Sigh...had to keep a watch on her so didnt have much time to catch up with my ex colleagues too. But it was sure a fun day for me to meet up with them after leaving company.

While waiting at the interchange. I used the hanky to cover her head coz of the rain. She wasnt very pleased with me taking this snap of her...

We left despite the rain to Philips sale at TPY. Thought maybe first day still have some items to grab. I dont recall avent was on sale last year and was surprised they had so many items on sale, and most were nearly snapped up!!!! I headed to the electrical section first to grab the kettle and toaster oven. Then pop by Avent to see.

I just cannot resist the good buy lah. 3 bottles of 125ml going at $12, and 3 bottles of 260ml going at $13 nia. Too bad the 3 bottles were already sold out! See how fast those mummies are? End up I got the 3 bottles of 125ml and 2 bottles of 260ml at $10, total $22. They were packed in ziploc bags. They have a special buy of exactly the same going at $26. The only difference is, they came in the avent boxes and sealed up nicely.

But then, I was heng heng leh, the guy who served me when I came to collect my items, blur blur gave me the special buy box..

Sterilisers were damn good buy! Mine costs $86 and the IQ24 at $100 nia leh..the breastpump best liao lor..avent duo going at $500 only, retailing at $799 leh. My UNO set costs $160. I didnt check out the manual pump, just didnt want to make myself more dui any further....

I bought the moisturing cream as well at just $7. Retail at $14. I just have to buy something lah, since so cheap. muahahahahahah...

Left in a hurry, coz rie had fallen asleep and hb wasnt very happy waiting for me liao..

Day 2.
Rie took her 2nd dose of pneumoccal this morning. IT was terrible for her, coz I didnt hold down her thigh hard enough, she kicked and Dr tan cannot admister the medication. She had to wait till rie stopped kicking before she can adminster and that meant having the needle on her thigh!!!! Wah liao, she yell like mad and kept crying...Feel so heartpain...

We left for lunch and then to PHilips sale again. Hee hee, forgot to buy the dvd player at $49 mah. cheap. Our old LG one, gone case liao. Rie go and push the slot too hard and it got jammed and refused to work. Then it ponder that we should get a portable dvd player so that we can bring out for rie to watch. Heng hb asked. Got a dvd player at $179. Not so bad, so now rie can watch her show anywhere in the house and outside liao..Finally something to keep her entertained.

Wonderful weekend....

Hubby took a day off on Friday and we decided is now or never to head down to the Jurong Bird Park.

I managed to tuck rie to bed early so that she wont be grumpy when she wake up in the morning. Cooked her porridge and we left home at 930am to Clementi to take a cab down. Cheaper mah.

Upon arrival, I see like not much people, but who knows inside was already a huge crowd.

We ate bf and went in just in time to catch the buddies and friends show at 11am.

Swimming...

Phillipines was having their holiday so mum was quite free yesterday and closed shop early. So we brought rie for a swim at RTC. Wah, her swimming costume abit tight for her already liao lor, cham...We bought it for her to wear when she was 6 months old and now she is coming to 18 months of age already. Time to get a new suit.

On the way home today, i saw a lady with 2 dogs. She rushed into the lift upon seeing me so I waited for another lift. But then hor, when the lift door closed, the 2nd dog didnt manage to enter it. I thought the dog did not belong to the lady and the dog kept following her and so to escape from the dog, she rushed into the lift and shut the door before the dog can enter.

Poor doggy leh, it kept following me and enter the lift with me. It was quite timid, but still allowed me to pat it.

I went home, left my bag and then went down to 1st floor again to see if I can find the owner. True enough, the owner, that lady was waiting eagerly downstairs and she looked so anxious and worried! She then told me later, she rushed because she was afraid I was scared of dogs and am pregnant. And she thought the dog had entered the lift and when she realised it wasnt, the door had already shut. She panic lor. She stays at the 15th floor.

It was nice to have the doggy back to the owner. She said the dog belongs to her daughter and if he had gone missing, her daughter would cry like mad...All ends well.

Shopping spree again...

Sat morning, we headed to Glens for my checkup. Everything is fine, boy boy now weighs 1.6kg. Dr Seng tried his best to take a 3D pic but too bad, boy boy is facing downwards and we can only see the back of his head..sigh..so no 3D pix...

I lost 2 kg again after gaining back 2 weeks ago..haiz..dont know what is wrong. In this case, I've only gained 4 kg since I got pregnant. Perhaps is coz we skip breakfast, and I dont have proper lunch. For dinner, I dont eat much as well, I get full when I eat only half the serving. Sigh..I sure hope I will gain back some weight by drinking milk dutifully every night now.

Then we went to the sale near hubby's office to get some cheap tees. Great buy. Headed to mum's place to pick up rie before heading down to Suntec to repair my damn nokia N82.

Having bad pixel display and audio sound man. Thereafter we had buffet at Joaqium and then went up to level 4 for the Tangz Bazzaar sale. Wah, so many things to see leh and I've only left with an hour to go only. I only managed to grab a WMF pot at $25 nia, stainless steel. Past by the biotherm counter, they were selling their pdts at less 60%...as rie was getting tired, we quickly headed home. Rie got herself a Thomas the train battery operated train.

Day 2 : Sunday
My handphone is ready for collection. But I needed to go down to Taka bbfair to grab some items first. Left the place with 2 huggies new born, a Barney Tee and pants for rie, 3 avent x 260ml, a pigeon toothbrush, and 2 pigeon hair and body wash. I love the smell of it after using the sample on rie, so just couldnt resist getting the refill pack at $11 for 2.

Then off to Suntec to pick up my phone. I'm glad we didnt have to wait long for my turn. Unlike at wheelock, where I once waited for more than an hour man. Phew. Mum was already at the Tang bazzaar shopping and so we left to meet her. She wanted to buy the Thomas the train collection set for rie at $30. They slashed the price, coz of 1 missing train part. But other than that, everything was intact. I ended grabbing 2 biotherm items - white detox and a matifying moisturizing fluid at $65 only. Cheap cheap lor, just cannot resist. hee hee.

Hubby made a last minute decision to purchase the hardcasing luggage. We bought a medium size one at $158 and a cabin luggage at only $59. I like the cabin luggage alot, very cute. Hubby said he will use that cabin luggage when I check into gleneagles. haha. I sure hope it is enough for me to pack all my things in.

Tomorrow's monday again. sigh...this coming weekend is going to be busy again. Sat going to my sup's housewarming party. Then if we have time, will head down to the Philips sale at TPY to grab a kettle and toaster oven. Sunday rie's gonna have her pneumoccoal 2nd dose. She's gonna cry hard time again.

Shopping spree....

Retail therapy is damn shiok and it's been a long long time since I met up with my gf to go on shopping spree leh. So damn happy....I should have shopped long ago, but didnt have any chance to head out.

Dad dropped by today at 12 to help me bbsit rie. I had purposedly woke rie up earlier, so that she will have her afternoon nap and dad can rest abit as well. Headed out to meet my gf, Shirley at 1pm City Hall. She is urgently looking for nursing clothings as she is heading back to Mysia this sat.

I brought her to Spring Maternity, my favourite shopping outlet when I'm pregnant. Wah, so many nice clothes and they are still having sale too. I ended up buying 1 nursing top and 1 black/white polka dot top. Had wanted to buy a pair of jeans bermudas as well, but then it didnt quite fit me lor.

Dropped by next door Cloud9, wah, their clothes are much cheaper on sale as compared to Spring. Ended up buying another 3 tops there. Good deal lor at just $59.90 in all. Left the place happy...

We then headed down to Kallang Bahru where there is the oldnavy/gap sale just opposite to hb's office. Hubby bought 12 pcs of clothings for rie and boy boy at just $40, as 3 are going for just $10. We were quite disappointed, as most of the baby clothings were already snapped up yesterday liao. Haiz, I should have dropped by, but no one was looking after rie lor. But thank god hb made the right choice to buy the 12 pcs too. Phew.

I managed to get some boy's top, not very nice, but still acceptable and 2 tops, one for myself and one for mum. Tomorrow will try to see if I have time to head down again or not. hee hee...

At the end of the day, my pelvis bone is aching so bad, my back is aching worst and my feet so sore from all the walking...I need rest, rest rest...

An inconsiderate neighbour...

Just want to complain about this neighbour, now that we finally found out who is the culprit liao.

Today I went to throw rubbish at the common chute area. And I spotted a bottle of softlan softener and 2 empty boxes of round light bulb. I called hubby up immediately to complain. Why?

Coz few months back, it happened twice. Someone left a stack of newspapers just next to the rubbish chute. It can be easily folded and dumped down the chute you know, but that lazy person simply just left it there. And hubby got so mad, he said if it rains heavily, the newspapers will all get soaked wet and moreover, I dont seem to see any cleaners clearing the items daily floor to floor either.

And so, we stuck a note on the wall to inform the inconsiderate neighbour NOT to leave their newspapers there. And guess what? Instead of the newspaper disappearing, the note went disappered! Alas, the papers were gone only few days later, I think there is a cleaner who did the job.

So this time, once again, the culprit strike. And guess what! Hubby knows who the person is, coz he actually met my neigbour in the morning on the way to work and she was holding onto the pink softlan softener! She's the one staying diagonally opposite us, is a retired and eccentric teacher and plays the piano. To her, we seem to be the closest neighbour, coz she once approached us at our door to check her DVD player for her. She abit eccentric one lor, so although we say hi and bye, we dont go more than that.

So it was a disappointment to find out she is the culprit lor. I Just dont get it, why cant she just throw into the chute? afterall, now we have this pedal to step on to open up the chute mah. Or maybe she scare of the smell is it? Haiz...

Safety First...

Okay, I've finally took some time to fix up the safety first drawer clip lock...It sure comes in handy and now rie has totally no interest in the drawers already.

She did try to pull the medical drawer, twice, but gave up after realising that she cannot open it anymore. whahaha...so my money is definitely well spent. Did I mention we went down to shichida last Sat to enquire about their course? The next earliest enrolment that rie can join is in Jan. She will be 22 months by then and I sure hope she will be able to pay attention in class, after all, it is really not cheap leh. HUbby is very supportive of the class. Phew. Will update more when we attend.

Bunny is not well....

Today was a busy day for me. Woke up at 730am, couldnt sleep. Rie woke up later at 9am and hubby brought her to market, so that I can nap abit..

I slept at 3am the night before. Was grooming my bunnies and bathing for BUnny. She is not well, having very bad sore hocks and Minty kept on over grooming her until her forehead is nearly botak liao. Had to separate them.

Dr Ling is closed on Sundays. Didnt know she is now only opened on 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month! I think she is starting to enjoy life liao, very hard to get her. She is a very good vet. Hence brought Bunny to see another vet at AMK - Dr Cathy Chan. This is my first time seeing her and both hb and I have good impression of her. She is very gentle, young as well and seems very knowledgeable.

She examined bunny and took her time to check her throughly. It was not a very good news. She said that if bunny are getting open wounds so easily and not putting on weight well, there may be underlying conditions like failing kidney or liver, which is very common among older rabbits. Bunny is estimated to be 8 years old since I got her from Marina Square and I dont know her exact birthday. Hence, she prescribe silversulf cream for her hocks, baytril as antibiotics and painkillers for BUnny. We are to monitor her condition for 2-3 weeks to see if she is improving and bring her back for review. Bunny is very skinny only 900gms. She used to be at least 1.4kg leh. Sigh, dontknow why she is losing weight...

Then we headed to Serangoon North Ave 2 to buy a cage for Minty and Bowie. Their old marchioro cage has rust and hubby is complaining whenever he washes the cage. The marchioro 100cm cage that I saw has already been sold, so sad. Then we spotted another cage which is 100cm, looks like marchioro. The guy is selling at $65 nia, cheap.

Next door, there is this 100cm cage as well, but it's height is slightly taller and comes with full accesssories which I didnt need much. This is going at $100. HUbby wanted me to get the $65 one, but I wanted the $100 one. Well, end up we reason out with the $100 cage, we can have a platform so that when hb cleans the cage, both rabbits can sit ontop. Plus they get to hop up and exercise abit too.

So we left the place happily with the new cage. Got home, threw the old, set up the new and went downstairs to burn papers for the 7th month...Then we went to TPY to watch a movie. Hb had initially wanted to watch the mummy but changed his mind later on. So we ended up watching MOney No enough 2.

If you feel the money you pay for this movie is worth, then by all means go and watch before the VCD is out. Hb and myself were tearing in certain part of the show, especially when the 3 sons put their mum into the old folks home, and when the mother had to shift house to house among their 3 sons to take turn to care for her. It was very sad and the lyrics was very meaningful as well. It talked about mother taking good care of them when they were young, but then now it reflects how badly they are treating her. Very very sad.

Now I understand why mothers are always the greatest of all, and being a mother now, I always look out for rie, care for her and provide her the best I can. I sure hope she will be a good mother next time too.

So anyway, the story abit draggy lah. I cant stand sitting down in that small space for 2 hours leh. My back was aching and I cant even move much. I wouldnt head to the cinema again unless the movie is really damn good. IN all, go watch it lah. Very touching storyline and funny too.

Okay, time to head to rest. I'm dead tired after a long day....

The weekend..........

Happy Birthday Singapore....
We headed out to Takashimaya for the baby fair on Sat afternoon. I need to check out some stuffs and to buy them if they are really good deal. It started to drizzle as we headed down...so while waiting for the rain to stop, I took some pix...
When we arrived at Taka, wah, it was such a crowd leh. Probably the weekend lah...I wasted no time to join in the crowd. Grabbed some items like the Safety First drawer clips which I needed badly. Rie kept pulling out the drawers in the kitchen and it worries me. She loves to play doctor at the last drawer, taking out the thermometer and placing in her ear, my ear and her baby alive ear to check the temperature. Otherwise she would take the normal digital thermometer and place it under her armpit. Faintz...

Grabbed 4 in all. Had wanted to buy the Huggies Ultra new born going at $7.40. Buy 2 pkts and get a mothercare baby romper free. I think quite a good deal, but I needed to check how much outside is selling at before I purchase. Dont know if Huggies Ultra is good to use or not. Last time rie was using the pampers new born and mamy poko for the night.

Then we moved onto the clothing section. Grabbed some ritchi newborn clothings 4 for $10. No long sleeves though, so got 2 long pants, 1 sleeveless top and a tee. Then onto the avent and pigeon section.

I am still considering if I should purchase the 3 x 260ml avent bottle going at $17.40. Robinsons is selling at $23.40. Should have buy at Taka lah. I have already bought 2 new ones from Robinsons when they were having the 20% off. But now, I notice the old bottle that I'm using for making rie's milk is turning slightly blur at the bottom and am deciding to buy new ones to replace it. So maybe that old bottle can be used to store breastmilk next time. Will have to see when I have the time to head down again.

Onto Pigeon. Nothing much. I didnt notice if they were selling the babywash 2 in 1. I've got the small bottle samples the last round I stayed at Rasa Sentosa and I simply love the fragrance of it. Hence thought maybe can buy for riesia to use. Robinsons selling at special price of $7.50. No discount. Wanted to get the pigeon breastpad, but no offer too. Going at $8.90. I remember last year I bought 4 boxes at $8 nia leh at the babyfair. Dont know why this time no offer liao.

We left not long to Robinsons as they were having 20% off. Here's a pix of rie that I took...She kept herself occupied by running through all the clothes racks, hiding in the long pants section and attempting to pull all the jeans and shirts off the shelves. I had so much problem chasing after her, worry that she would fall and bump into the shelves..Sigh...

Hubby got himself a Thomas Smith working pants. We discovered what went missing from the bamboo that flew away. One of it was his Thomas Smith working pant and the other is the pant that he bought for our ROM. Sigh....

Then I brought rie to the household department. I needed to get a new airpot. The one I have at home has lasted us for 3 years and the hot water is no longer hot for hours. But too bad robinsons are selling all electric airpot, which I didnt want. Meyer is having 20% off too, thought of buying a small pot. Not cheap leh, at $59 or $69.

Rie was the happiest at the nursery department, playing all her toys and carrying her barney. If you have been to Robinsons, you will notice they have this whole rack of sweets. Aiyo, this girl, she begged papa to buy sweets for her. She would always say "peas peas"whenever she wants something and place both her hands under her chin. (If you are wondering where she learnt that from, it's from baby bop)

Papa said a strict no. Poor rie came running towards me, pointing to the shelves and did her "peas peas" act. Very ke lian one leh she can act until, with her innocent eyes. I cant say yes, coz hb said no, so I have to bluff her we will go downstairs to buy lor...sigh...

Left happily with my items bought : Purelan Medela cream(I lost my old one), 3 pigeon cotton buds boxes, TOllyjoy wet wipes.

Then we headed to mum's place to watch the national day parade. Managed to catch sight of the fighter planes and fireworks....Came home dead tired with backache.

I've ordered ergo baby carrier!!!!

Wah, heng this morning I decided to log onto PC and check under the spree section man! Otherwise I sure bang the wall.

There is this girl who started a ergo baby carrier spree from babycenter yesterday morning. I wonder how come I didnt notice it. And heng she is only closing the spree today and I'm lucky enough to have a slot. Phew.

I quickly fund transfer to her to reserve my place and will inform her the colour I want later. I cant decide which colour to get. The carrier costs $147 + $10 shipping = $157 NETT leh. If metro has 20%, it's gonna costs $151.20. But too bad leh, they are not bringing in this carrier anymore. So what the heck with $5.80 more? Only problem is collection is at redhill. But if I opt for registered mail, it's another $4.79 only. Need to factor in the travelling costs and time if hb were to follow me along. Will decide later..Item is gonna arrive in 2 weeks time..yeah...

Now for the colour. I had wanted to buy the black with camel lining, but after seeing the actual item at metro, I kind of feel the camel lining like dirty colour lor. Many mummies are buying the black with green lining.

Somehow, I dont know why I kind of fancy the cranberry, even though I never notice it in the first place.

This is the alternative colour or in fact a colour that I would buy - black with green lining. But then I dont know if the black will be too hot for bb or not if say we walk under hot sun, since black attract heats very fast.

That's why I considered getting cranberry. But it doesnt seem to be a popular colour since so many are getting black. So I wonder if next time I were to sell away, would it be a problem to find a seller who has the same taste as me.

I was telling mum last night about riesia's weird behaviour.
Not that it coincides with the 7th month, but i think is really pure coincidence, or perhaps there is nothing at all and we are just imagining too much.

I shower for rie in the master bedroom toilet. and now that she can stand, I normally wipe her half dry just outside the toilet door before moving her to the bed to dress up.

I cant recall when it started, but now whenver I'm drying her up outside the toilet door, she would say "bye bye", wave her hands and give a blowing kiss towards the toilet bowl direction. I dont know why she does that or what she can "see" or she is just innocently doing that. It didnt disturb me at first, but then after I relate to hb, he started adding spice and nonsense.

And when I brought it up last night to mum, we came home and she did that again after shower. I told hb again and he came into the room, saying he felt errie too blah blah. Wah liao, I already freaking out deep down and yet he still say such things. Then he spoke to the toilet in midair saying things like sorry ah, riesia dont know things lah, blah blah. Then he say we must buy some incense to pray on the 15th of this month. Yeah, i think we should...I want to pray also...

So well, that's what happen lah. Make me last night whole night keep staring at the toilet door, so scary....

Buffet AGAIN????

Sigh...talking about the nursing wrap, I've got few feedbacks from mummies who are using them.


One who is using the black one said black was dark and she cant seem to peep her bb from beneath. Hence I think chocolate is the same.


Then another one said hip green and blue material are different from the rest. I like blue. Yeah yeah, I know dull person. But if I dont have a choice, then I will get the green one lor.

The girl is gonna check with merchant if they can offer promo price again or not. If yes, then I will probably go ahead to place order for my blue. Had wanted the pink, nice girly colour, BUT....scare easily dirty. I should have grab that $20 washed but not used nursing cover. Darn.


Dad sms-ed. He wants to bring us out for buffet tonight at inter continental. Time to head out..

Dilemma...

I've been very tempted to get the busy baby nursing wrap from spree at about $35.

since I've used the MIM sling to nurse rie in public, it doesnt really totally cover up my fatty tummy and I'm slightly exposed too. So I was thinking if there is a shaw that can cover up totally, how nice it would be.

I'm so tempted! I like pink and blue, but thought the material might get dirty easily and if worst, if I'm using at eating places, then get dirty then cannot wash, then how? I see many mummies order black or chocolate. My guess is that, if it's dirty, it cannot be seen so easily.

And as if God heard my prayer, there is this lady who is willing to let go her BN chocolate nursing wrap. How??? There is another hip green colour, but then I dont really fancy green leh. Should I get the chocolate colour? Sometimes I hate myself. I always get dull dull colours. If I have a 2nd chance, I would definitely opt for a nicer shade of colour for my MIM sling, other than just blue.

So should I??? There's another seller selling her black and pink colour. I'm worry abt pink getting dirty easily too. This lady told me even if we dont nurse, we can also wear it to keep ourselves warm too. Good idea. Xiao liao lor, spend money again. Hb's going to nag at me.

Today after work, I popped by metro woodlands to check out if they have the ergo baby carrier. And wah liao, they do! Last piece somemore and it was at the counter area. Some one reserved it but never come collect. It's black with camel lining, which I quite like the colour and was aiming for that colour. The box is rather old, and I requested to see the carrier. The black material has many fur like thing on it. i didnt try to brush it off, and the camel lining like abit dull colour liao. It doesnt looks like new to me, so I really dont know how long this carrier has been with them. Sigh...why do I always get last piece items whenever I want something.

They are offering 10% off for members off their retail price at $189. Last friday and sat, they were having 20% off. But stupid people, they were not answering their phone despite me calling for 2 days and at different time of the day. So fed up lor. If they answered, I might have just went down and buy it at $151. Worth right?

Told hb about it. He said why buy so early, wait till xmas then buy. But by then, I think the metro last piece would have been sold liao. If only robinsons sells too, then we can use vouchers to buy. Sigh..got a feeling I will end up using my MIM sling for #2 again. And who's gonna carry? me again.

Monday blues...

Yes, believe it or not, SAHM also have monday blues hor...

It's the begining of the week and that means after having hb at home to help (little bit nia) for the weekend, it's back to being alone for the rest of the week with rie...

Time is hard to pass by at times, so I spent my time today letting rie try on the new dresses, shorts and tops that SIL have bought back from US. She spent in all US200 on rie's clothings and boy boy's clothings.

Rie got tired and sick of trying them on and when I said " riesia wear okay?" She kept shaking her head to protest..Then I tried to pack those boy's clothings 0-6 months into a box so that it would be easier for me to bring them out to wash in Oct. But alas, I was merely taking them out to see, then putting them back into the box again.

Rie was ready for her nap at 330pm. I took a quick nap at 430pm, hoping she will wake up only at 6pm. But she woke up early at 515pm and I have to figure out how to spend the time till 630pm for her shower. So I decided to bring her down to the park for a walk.

I'm amazed that when I said "riesia, let's go walk walk." She went to take her shoes and brought them to me to wear it for her. I think she gets very bored coped up at home as well, so we will go breathe in some fresh air downstairs...

Poor girl, her ulcer still hurts and I really have no idea where her ulcer is and how big it is. I tried to apply the gel onto her teats for her to suck and she kept saying " hot hot". I tink it stings for her. Poor thing.

Sunday....

All of us woke up late. Hubby went to market at 12 noon;rie and I woke up at 1230pm..hee hee..

Then after rie's lunch, we head out to TPY to do some grocery shopping at NTUC. Since rie hardly get to go out shopping to wear her nice clothes, I decided to dress her up.

This is what she wore. Hubby said her daughter like going for dinner like that. Haha. I'm so glad that rie is okay with sitting in the trolley, otherwise, we have to keep carrying her. Phew. Of course, we have to give her something to play with, and hubby gave her an orange, which eventually dropped onto the floor and rolled off under a shelf. Opps...

So I gave her another barney water bottle.
As we went out whole afternoon and head out to MIL's place thereafter, she didnt have her afternoon nap at all. She KO on the playmat while drinking water at 9pm. I have to drag her for her shower. She was too tired to even notice I had undressed her...Placed her in the bath tub and she was still sleeping upright, until the water poured onto her and she started to cry..Poor girl..Sorry lah, U have to shower, smelly smelly...
Poor rie has ulcer in her mouth, and she refuse to let me brush her teeth. And she kept pointing to her mouth to indicate it was painful. Sigh...I fed her some noodles with chopsticks and I think it hurt the ulcer and she started to whine and made tears in her eyes...So heartbroken...

My checkup....

I had a much more relax check up today, coz dad offered to come over help me bbsit rie while hb and I sneak out for my check up. Phew.

Without rie around, I feel less pressured and more relax. I'm now 28 weeks, but Dr Seng said I'm about 29 weeks according to the machine. Baby is very active, weighing at 1.4kg liao. So fast right. We had the chance to do a 3D scan, but too bad leh, too many things were blocking bb's face. The umblical cord, the placenta. I can only see half the face and I saw very clearly the eye. It looked a little scary, but then if I use a little imagination, can roughly see the face lah.

Bb has oval shaped face, like me. Unlike rie, who has apple face takes after hb. And thank god, bb has already turned down. I hope he will be guai guai and remains this way till delivery. I definitely wont want him to be in the breech position. NOw that bb is bigger and there is lesser space in my womb, I feel his kicks and punches more powerful and at night, it can get really irritated and painful when I sleep by my side. Sigh...

I've put on another kg, phew. Heng not 2kg man, otherwise I sure faint. In all, I've put on 6kg since pregnancy. Good news for me, coz I'm aiming to hit less than 10kg when I deliver. I have another 2.5more months to go, so estimating to put on 1 kg per month, I will hit only 8.5 to 9kg. Will I make it??

Will be seeing gynae in another 2 weeks time after National Day. It's gonna be a fortnightly visit until I hit week 36 where it will be weekly visits until I pop in Oct...Now can sense a wee little bit of excitement liao...

Buffet again...

Friday. Friday seems to be buffet day for our family. This time round we head to Holiday Inn as they are having 1 for 1 promotion at $38 per person. Initially I told my mum that hb cant make it as he has to work late.

I sms-ed him, and he didnt reply. I didnt dare to call him, coz I know he will throw temper at me. So I told mum to call him instead and surprisingly, he said he wanna come along too! Mum told him to go makan, then after that head back office to work lor.

So he told his boss and his boss said okay as long as he comes back to finish up his work.

I dread the moment. That is when dad brought up to employ a maid. This is the first time he ever said such things. All along is mum who keep asking me to get a maid. Dad said :

: You get a maid first. Then if you dont like, you can transfer her.

I just shook my head. Then mum said to dad, if riesia poo poo and needs to wash butt butt, whose gonna wash? How are you(to me) going to wash during your confinement? How are you going to cope with 2 kids?

I kept quiet, and just eat my food. I dont care. wait till I cannot take it then say.

We came home at 930pm, hb took a shower and went off to work again. He's gonna be at office till 2-3am. He said he doesnt wish to go back office work on Sunday. My heart nearly drop. Not that I want him to work, but if he goes back to work, means I no need to go MIL house mah!!!!! But if he dont go to work, then we have to go MIL house to suffer...

Now that I'm into my 3rd tri, it is really not easy to carry riesia. Plus at MIL house, I still have to cook for her in the damn small stuffy kitchen. And I always ask MIL to cook porridge SMALL fire, but she always like to on big big fire and let the whole pot of porridge boil until whole pot is full of bubbles. So fed up. Then the porridge become so nua like mua, which riesia dont really like. Plus I dont think it is filling for her too, so watery. Stubborn one.

Now MIl cooks my serving of porridge with riesia's in the rice cooker. So we cannot gauge how nua the porridge is. Xian one lor. And it is not easy to feed rie now, esp when she cannot sit still and she has no toys to play with over there. That's why I never look forward to going over.

I'm thinking next time if I bring #2 over and I have to bf in the room, riesia is sure to follow me in the room. Then how to look after her when I'm bf? Xian half...I dread that day to come.

How I wish they can come my house instead, but it is not easy to "invite" MIL to come over one. She got pattern one lor, she refuse to go out with FIL. That's why I very xian. And plus they so old and they insist on taking bus and not taxi, and the journey takes them 1 hour. And my hb always pity them so ask them dont come. haiz...

dont want talk about them anymore. Tired.

Counting down....

Today is the 1st of Aug = first day of the 7th mth= riesia 17 months old=2.5 more months to go before i'm gonna pop.

I'm starting to worry already that I have another 2.5 months more only to sleep well, rest well and to spend time with rie...My belly button has popped and my tummy is so protruding now. I'm also getting difficulties in getting up from the floor..standing up for too long. I need to rest whenever I walk a certain distance.

Boy boy is very active now throughout the day. Been kicking high and low and I was so uncomfortable during the bus journey as he kept kicking up my tummy and it wasnt a good feeling. Otherwise he kept kicking down below and I was already so high tide and wanna pee liao...At night, I've gotta keep getting up to pee, so I try to minimise drinking too much water at night.

Last night, for the very first time, I KO once my head hit the pillow..I didnt even bother what hubby was grumbling at me about. I guess coz I drank the cough mixture and it took nearly immediate effect on me. Slept really well for the first time for many months of sleepless nights. I still have to wake up once at night to feed rie water when she make noise..Was so half asleep, I just dump the teat into her mouth and went back to sleep. Had to force myself to wake up to change her diapers, otherwise she will wet her bed again.

She has been a very good girl at home. But sometimes she still drives me up the wall lah. She's like the young picasso now, scribbling our wall all over the house, then last night, she went to scribble on our dining table leg. Grr....pasting her barney sticker on the dining table leg and I have so much difficulites in removing the sticker.

Otherwise, she will go and pull out the medical drawer, take the thermometer and place it in her ear or the digital type she will place it under her armpit to check her temperature.

She is a very helpful girl too! Surprisingly. She knows where to throw rubbish and throws her diapers if I left it on the floor, or throw papers away. I fear she throw money away ah...Then if she sees me dumping laundry into the washing machine, she will help to pass me the clothings from the basket. If I am keeping laundry, she pass me the hook for the bamboo, waits for me to take down the laundry and pass it to her to place it on the chair. Or rather she just dump onto the living room floor, but that's better than nothing.

She can be a very tidy girl IF she wants to be one. At least she knows what is to "keep" her toys or items lying around. I'm so proud of her. So sometimes I get so fed up when she mess up the place, I ask her to keep all into the box or drawer and she will do so. Of course, she would expect me to praise her later on by clapping.

Yesterday, she went into the master bedroom bathroom and sat into the bathtub with her diapers and tee on!!! She was happily splashing water and scoping up the water. Faintz man. End Up I've gotta shower for her again.

Oh, not to mention, this little girl LOVES to take photos!!! And she will pose for u...see....
