The most dreadful thing that can ever happen to a parent has happened to me and I never thought it wuold happen to me!
Riesia fell down from our simmon king size bed, hit the baby cot next to it and fell BUMP onto the floor in between. She cried like mad NON_STOP for at least 10-15mins and I was in great shocked and cried together with her, while cuddling her and comforting her and so-so her bump.
I had just showered her and she was on the bed playing and I just turned my back say less than 1 min to get a cream to apply on her thigh and bump. I screamed for hubby and it was the worst worst feeling of my life ever since I became a mum myself.
I didnt know what to do, hubby didnt know what to do and I just kept pacing up and down and I needed someone to comfort me. Hubby didnt help much, he kept asking me to call my parents and I didnt want them to find out. After rie felt more settled, we tried to touch touch her back of the head to see where the pain was. SLIGHT and I meant very slight touch only sent her to tears all over again. She was sobbing badly after she stopped yelling and tears were all over her fragile face. Wah liao, my whole heart sunk okay. Sunk all the way down to the bottom of the ocean. I hated myself at that moment. WHY did I have to turn my back? WHY did I have to take it for gtee?
While I placed her on the bed to change, she let out a small cry. I think she must have hurt her back of the head as well. Cham. how how how..
I am very worried that she might have hurt her arm or sprain her neck or whatever and we both rushed down to KK immediately. We reached there at 930 and waited till close to 11 before it was our turn. There was quite a crowd despite being so late. There was this little boy who scalded his hand and was crying very loudly. Rie, hearing cries, pout her lips and was close to tears AGAIN and I had to carry her away to coax her. The nurse examined her head and slight press and she cried again...I told hubby, perhaps we should get her x-ray to see if everything is alright.
Our bed is of quite a height, higher than normal bed and to imagine, her falling and hitting against the wooden baby cot before falling onto the fall, she hit twice okay. The day before, it was hubby's fault. He left her on the mattress and she turned and bump onto the back of her head and cried as well. But this time it was more serious.
While waiting for our turn, Rie seemed fine and back to her normal self. Just that when I try to massage the bump infront of her head, she pushed my arms away and didnt want me to touch. Hubby messaged bro to inform him we are not going over tomorrow morning as I wanted to take a day leave to monitor her. Just as we stepped into the room for the PD to check on her, dad called. I am very suprised why he would call, because normally they wont call to ask how come we arent going over. Deep in my heart, I was thinking, die lah, sure have to tell them. We tried to hang up the phone 3 times, and dad called hb's phone. Bo bian, hubby answered and told him what happened. Sure gena scolding one. Haiz...
The nice PD, checked on Rie, everything seems fine. Weigh her and she is at 8.1kg as of 7th Oct.
She said it wasnt necessary to do a scan for her, coz she didnt throw up and she seems to be back to her normal self. I was still worried and thought a scan would be better, but then PD said no need, then okay lor.
So we left KK and hubby had to call home and mum questioned lor..haiz...Rie recognizes my mum's voice. She was smiling widely as I placed the handphone next to her ears for mum to speak to her. The funny thing about her is she dont utter a sound when she listens to the handphone. She just keeps smiling. We went to collect some panadols for her and left for home.
Upon reaching home, just as I was about to shower her, the door bell rang. "See, see". I told hubby. It was my parents and bro. They had rushed down to come and see Rie. Rie was in great joy when I opened the door and she saw my parents.
Okay lor, so much for all the cuddling lah, sayang lah, play with her lah, make her laugh etc. Then I prepared her milk, showered her and put her to bed at 1am. She was too tired out by then and slept through till 7am when I bf her and she slept till 11am the next day.
A big big bruise has appeared on her head this morning. Mum said her right feet is swollen and theres a bruise on her left cheek also. I cant tell, but she claims so. So What to do ?
This is definitely one big lesson that I've learnt and will never make it happen again. Trouble starts once your kid crawls. More to come when she starts walking...Sigh.....
Rie weights 8.1kg...

We went to vivocity to get Rie her swimsuit and on Sunday morning, she seems to know we are bringing her for a swim and she woke up at7am. So we headed out to TPY swimming complex at 830am. Wah, what a crowd in the morning leh, but luckily the toddler pool was rather empty. I thought rie would be afraid, but wah, she warmed up quite quickly and swum about while I carried her. Ahahah, she loved to splash the water too and was very happy to see kids around her playing too....We swum for an hour and she got hungry and started to cry while I had to rush to make milk for her...tsk tsk.
She slept from 1230 to 4pm that afternoon after her lunch. She must be tired out....but it was a great day for us. Hubby made it a point to bring her for a swim every sunday.

I am having a bad day today...I wish there arent so much problem afterall. Perhaps I should really have left in July and all these problems wouldnt occur. And now, everything seems to be pushed back to me yet again. I hate this type of feelings....
I'm figuring out how to get back my house keys from dad. I had passed it to him during my confinement period and am afraid he may just pop by anytime when I stop work. Just last week, after he bought a mattress for me, he came by and left the mattress in our room and he complained to mum that our hse is in a mess. I dont feel comfortable to have my parents just coming to my house without informing me beforehand. And there are times when I'm also worried that what if I'm sleeping with Rie then he just pop by like that? That's why now, I latch the main door when I'm home alone.
How how how..How to get my keys back? Hubby adviced me strongly not to get it back, otherwise, they sure have things to say yet again. Damn. Regrets.
